Do not utilize this service. Read all negative comments as all have words of truth. I obtained this serve when another vendor increased their monitoring costs. For the price and what they offered, I felt it reasonable. I had serious problems after installation when my phone began going out and internet problems arose. I had to call my phone/internet service on a regular basis due to outages. My at home work depends on phone and internet connectivity. This almost ruined my business. Frequent calls to Alarm Force for code 10 and code 13 errors were met with hostility and lack of concern. They were very condesending; "Put a battery in it; there's nothing we can do." Only after I informed them that i was getting another vendor did they express interest. By that time I had selected another service. Upon installation, I was informed that the reason for my phone/internet problems was that the installer had installed the Alarm Force system into the ADT system and failed to disconnect ADT. The Alarm Forcepeople have since informed me that it was my responsibility to disconnect ADT. DUH! They also informed me that due to a contract I had to pay them for another year of service; which I have. They even tried to continue drafting my account after the contract ended. I had to put a freeze on my bank account to keep them out. They sent me a bill for over $500 saying they wanted their equipment back.Well..another of my complaints was that the sensors continued to fall off the doors. ATT installed my system and discarded ADT and Alarm Force. The keypad was a piece of trash as were the sensors. Because i didn't seen them the $500 they have increased the bill to over $900 and say they will turn it over to collection to ruin my credit. They call, they write, they threaten. I have called to speak to a supervisor only to be told that the supervisor is unavailable, on another call or just have refused to let me speak to anyone except "PEGGY." As a result I have obtained the phone/internet service records from my provider and am in the process of writing the Attorney General for the State of North Carolina with my concerns. No one should be bullied, threatened or coerced into accepting shoddy installations/ service or snotty customer service that ends up causing the customer inconvenience, loss of revenue or home security. I have no intention of paying any money and they can pull the pennies off my dead eyes if they want any money from me....ever.
