Hello Rob, the lack of communication you experienced is in no way acceptable. At the end of the year, we always try to get out as many roofs as possible so that customers do not have to deal with a roofing install during the holidays, we definitely understand your frustration with the delay. It can be difficult to clean up all the debris in the winter because of the snow, as it melts it reveals items that we may have missed. Please understand that we try our hardest to leave a job site clean the first time, but will always come back out to clean up any mess that you encounter. Also, it's very important to clarify that the shingles that blew off your roof occurred during a severe windstorm last week and was not due to insufficient installation methods or simply falling off. Regardless, this issue is 100% covered under your warranty and we will be repairing it for you. Again, we do apologize for the delay and poor communication, but D'Angelo and Sons takes our customer service very seriously and want to ensure that we resolve any issue you having.

Hello Ian, it's very disappointing for us to hear how unhappy you were with our services. When you first stated your dissatisfaction with our work, we immediately wanted to rectify the situation and repair any work that was not completed to your standards. Unfortunately, the leak you are referring to was a preexisting issue that was present before D'Angelo and Sons came out to do the work. We came on site several times in order to repair the problem but were unable to find the initial source. You had stated that we did not take responsibility for our work, however, the leak was an existing problem that occurred before we started any work on your home. The job completed by D'Angelo and Sons did not cause the leak, but you are correct in saying that we did not repair it. I apologize that we were not able to find the source of the leak you had, but as stated, it was not an issue caused by any of the services we provided. Hi James, I brought your complaint to our Warranty Manager, and because we do not have your address we tried our best to recall and track down your file. Firstly, the garbage being left on your property is inexcusable and we apologize for the trouble it caused you. We do our best to provide a quick turn around time on our bins, we used to use a bin service, however the turn around was sometimes weeks. Since D'Angelo and Sons owns all of our dump trailers, we hope to get them all turned around in a few days. Regarding the issue under your window, we believe there may have been some misunderstanding from whoever it was you spoke to. As previously mentioned, our Warranty Manager could not recall your specific case, it's possible that you were told the wrong information over the phone when you called. If the issue you are having relates in any way to the roof, it is definitely covered under warranty and we would send out a technician to repair it. However, if the person you spoke to believed you were having a separate issue with your windows, they may have quoted you a price in order to get a repair technician out to your home. I recommend you call our office and ask to speak to our Warranty Manager directly. Once he has your address and is able to speak to you regarding your problem, we can get to the bottom of this and hopefully get it resolved for you. It's unfortunate to hear that you were disappointed with the quality of the work you had done with us, we try our best to resolve customer complaints, but because you posted anonymously we can not review your file. What we can say is that at D'Angelo and Sons, customer service is the foundation of all the work we do, if it wasn't for our happy customers coming back and referring their friends, we wouldn't be where we are now, almost 40 years later. In regards to our Better Business Bureau standing, we are currently ranked as a grade A accredited business. As stated on BBB's website, all of our cases have been resolved except those where "The Business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer did not accept the response, OR BBB has not heard back from the consumer as to their satisfaction." I can't look into why your BBB complaint is unresolved, however if it is because of the reasons above from the Better Business Bureau, that is out of our control. In terms of our work, we install the products that are agreed upon through our contracts that are signed not only by the customer, but also by our sales representatives. Lastly, D'Angelo and Sons registers more warranties than any other roofing company in Canada. We would prefer to speak to you about your specific problems so that we can rectify the issues at hand, our client's happiness, as well as our reputation are very important to us.
