Terrible customer service

They came to my house with a free stuff if you upgrade your furnace and water heater, the gift are poor quality. With door lock installation they ruined my door. Furnace installation was supposed to safe energy and money, but not at all, my gas bills are sky high. Water heater was not returned on time and I was paying for two services for over a year and no ones care to return the funds, now over 4 years struggling with them and all I get is an empty promises. Do let let them to your home. Don't fall into empty promises and get stuck for 15 years contract

Beware of tactics!

My father is elderly and does not speak English very well. After installing a $3500 tankless water heater the technician passed my father his cell phone to sign the contract my father couldn't read, nor was it explained to him. He left no copy of the contract, no card, nothing. He told my father that conventional tanks last about 10 years due to rust. My parents' was only 5. A few weeks later, someone from the company called my parents and asked to come inspect the unit. My father agreed. Then, the caller asked for my father's age, and he refused to answer. They didn't show up for the so-called inspection, and tried again two weeks later. Again, my father refused to give them their age. Again, no one showed up. That's when I got involved and had to spend an entire day tracking down this company only to find out that my parents are paying $9000 for this unit over the next 15 years. I know my father may be confusing certain parts, but they should not have been there to begin with!! Door to door sales are illegal in this industry! Prior to all this, there was also a mysterious person canvassing the area. This guy was inspecting chimneys and recommending tankless hot water heaters! What a coincidence...

No real service provided

I've been locked in with an account with this company for years. I wish I knew how poor the service was. My original ring equipment I paid for still doesn't work and I tried to reconcile myself to having insurance for my furnace and A/C.

But for that side of the service the make appointments where the tech never shows up. There is no follow up, support calls just get dropped.

They only thing they are good at is hounding you for payments. When my credit card expired boy did they know about that and I got called multiple times to get it updated. No good options for payments either I had to call and talk to a rep to even get credit card payments done at all.

Horrible customer service, no real insurance and locked into very long terms. No value at all delivered from this company. They are now rebranded as a new company, but seems like the same level of service so far, nothing has changed.

very poor communication

this is the worst company you can deal with. we purchases a heat pump from them and after the rebait we would owe them $1000. they started charging us fees since last December. we called numerous times to find out what this monthly payment is for but we got 0 replies. we finally stopped the automatic payment this month only to get them to response. don't deal with them and read the fine print because no one will tell you anything about that rental fees

Thank you Mr. Asharaf

Mr. Asharf fixed the issue with my thermostat which stopped working for 8 days, He was so efficient, and his explanations to all my questions were very clear and professional. in spite of having the furnace working again, he did the extra step even by waiting with me and monitoring the charging of the thermostat battery which was lost due to long cut off. Mr. Ashraf did not leave me until the battery was fully charged, and made sure even that my phone app resumed the work. during the wait period, I learned a lot about my furnace, thermostat from him.
At the end I was so satisfied with his attitude, and I offered him a "thank you" gratitude and his reply was clear, straight forward indicating that he is just doing his job with love that is all, and DID NOT ACCEPT the gratitude politely. I definitely love to deal with this wonderful guy for all kind of HVAC service.

I recently had pleasure of experiencing a service visit from a tech Ashraf at my home, and I must say, it was a truly positive experience. It was evident that the tech possessed a deep understanding of HVAC. They quickly diagnosed the issue I was experiencing with my device and efficiently went about resolving it. Time is precious, and I appreciated the tech's efficiency in completing the service, exceptional problem solving skills.

Beyond horrible customer service

I have been a loyal customer with simply smart from a simple ac and heating insurance coverage plan couple of year ago. Have them installed our google nests and cameras during and after pandemic; had wonderful experiences with technician teams and gave them five star reviews on google review.

We joined the governmental rebate on new ac and heat pump installation last summer in 2023 and chose the monthly payments option while upgrading our monthly payments option to have the insurance coverage plan included, which our old coverage plan should be cancelled once the new units were installed. However, the billing department did not cancel the old coverage plan and overcharged us for 7 months, I contacted Liby (the sale we signed new units installation with) over the phone and via text messages several times to have the billing department stop the overcharging. Liby informed me in Jan 2024 that the billing department would issue a refund check ASAP. It's April 2024 and we still have not received the so called issued refunded check.

Things have gone ugly during the negotiation with simply smart over the past six months, I have never encountered any company would issue their customer a refunded check half a year ago and the customer was still waiting till today to receive it. The constant calling of 1-800 customer service line and directly contacted with my point of contact Liby built up so much frustration and disappointment and simply smart hast lost our trust that I did not believe the customer service representative told on the phone that "Don't worry, I saw the note, it's been taken care of blah blah blah".

Apparently it's NOT BEEN TAKEN CARE OF". Our new monthly payments were 200+ per months with two newly installed units and the refunded check would be 150+ which was even lower than one month payment. The time and attention I spent on following up with the god knows where refunded check caused too much anger, confusion, depression and disappointment. I am puzzled how and why this happened and our family is still waiting for a closure of this ridiculous and should not happen incident to get off our to do list.

Bunch of promisers, the worst company to deal with. They sign you up with a price and then increase it every year. Their equipment and especially contractors are doing a terrible job and then there is no one to fix it. Do not deal with them!
