Visage Windows & Doors

We had our windows done last summer (2014) and in less than 1 year one of the windows does not close properly. Normally that would not be a big issue since the workmanship has a 25 year warranty, but Dimitry refuses to call us back. We have been calling the office for months every week or so and no one is calling us back. If anyone at Visage reads this comment, please go through your voice mail and call back the customers who have left you voice mails asking you to honor your warranty which is clearly printed on the back of our bill which has been paid in full. If you have not deleted your messages, we expect to hear back from you soon.

This company is great as long as all you want are the windows or doors. We have an issue with one of the windows installed and getting a hold of the company is a large task in itself. The company replies on a voicemail service to filter through calls.

If you call asking for a quote or are a new customer, you can expect a quick reply. If you call inquiring about a fix to an existing install, don't expect to hear back from them. A friend and I both have issues with a window from separate installations done by Visage and both of us cannot seem to get a call back no matter how many times we call or email.

My recommendation. Spend a little more and find another company. A warranty on products and service are only useful when the company that is supposed to honor it does not evade you with a voice mail service.

Have been waiting for months for issues with the windows to be fixed (major aesthetic issues as well as windows that won't function). IGNORED by the company. They promised to fix it and months later they have not and do not reply to texts or phone calls. I mistakenly referred them to 3 others ALL of whom have had major problems that are as yet unresolved. DO NOT use this company.

I used Visage Windows and doors to replace our front doors which were just about of fall off.

Andy was easy to deal with and gave us a fair quote for our double doors with a triple lock as security was our primary concern.

About 2 months later, their 2 workers came by and did the install in about 3 hours. They then swept the whole place clean.
The doors look great and I get compliments from my neighbours now! The door are solid and we feel more secure now.

Now looking to also replace my windows in the near future!

One year update!

Our door has some issues with a couple of small gaps and despite repeated calls and assurances, no one has come to fix them. One of gaps even allows water and cold air to enter the house!! See the pic!

Update after this review!
A repair person came by to fix the issues. All is good now. It's too bad it took a negative review to get issues fixed. Since the issue was fixed, I have updated the review to 8*.

I was promised a delivery and install date, they made that happen!
Installation was clean, quick and efficient!
They cleaned up, left nothing behind.

We were looking to replace 2 patio doors on our coach house for a large 4 panel sliding door set. Dimitri from Visage came out and quoted us an excellent price that included all installation, custom wood trim and minor renovations of the old space to accommodate the wider doors.
Their colour choices and hardware options were great and we were able to match the colour set to the rest of the coach house easily.
Doors were installed on time and on budget and their installers were professional and did flawless work including custom wood trim that matched the rest of the trim work.
Having Visage quote on our cottage next for full windows and door replacement.
Highly recommend them for any window or door project!

Dimitry is quick and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Visage Window and Doors installed several windows for me at 2 locations on Monday March 7 and I couldn't be happier with the product and service. I was impressed immediately with the initial quote process as I wasn't pressured to do more work on my home than originally planned. The staff was knowledgeable and patient answering any questions I had. The installation staff was professional and friendly. They made the effort to kept my home clean throughout the installation and took the time to tidy up after. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their windows and doors.

We needed to change 3 main level windows and 2 basement windows (all from the homes original construction). Dimitry met with us and provided a good estimate and explanation. He did let us know that it would be around a month before they could come in due to work load and he did meet that time. Dimitry also explained specifics about the job, what materials and treatments they would do on the outside, what features the windows had and helped us determine which windows would be best for each room.

The work was completed in 1 day by 2 workers. The workers were polite and started work right when they arrived. They completed the entire task in 4 hours which was very impressive.

My only issue which is not a big issue at all is the calking was done very quickly which now that it has had time to settle is starting to open small gaps where it is contacting the window frame, some calking spilled over onto the window tracks which will need to be cleaned before the window is opened to prevent jamming. But I would use Visage Windows and Doors again as that one con does not out weighs the large amount of pros.
