Mckinnon Heating Cooling

I had a good experience with McKinnon when I had to replace my AC unit and furnace within the past five or so years. So when I was looking into options for a new water heater, I made sure to contact them again. I looked into my options and got various quotes, and the quote from McKinnon was certainly the best one. I was told it could take hours to install the thing, but to my surprise, the job was done within an hour and a half. I was impressed with the speedy and tidy job. I'm very happy with the service from McKinnon and would definitely recommend them for anyone's HVAC needs.

My 20 year old furnace died in the middle of a cold spell. I called about 8:00 am on a Tuesday, and a repairman was at my door by about 12:30. Unfortunately, the old beast was beyond repair and tagged as unsafe. A day and a half later (Thursday), installers showed up, took the old furnace away, installed a new one, and everything is working fine. I was very pleased with the speedy service, especially considering the pressure on an HVAC company during a cold spell. FYI, I opted for the priciest unit, thinking it will ultimately be the best value. BTY, they did me a similar solid several years ago when my air conditioner died during a heat wave.

our Heater broke down on the coldest night of the year, Michael and crew tried to fix it by changing 1 piece but it was not possible so he changed the whole unit the next day, professional and with a reasinable price, did the cleaning after.

We had been working with another company who never came back to fix the work they did 6 months prior. As a result the boiler broke and there was no hot water or heat in the house. We called another company and they gave us a very high quote and for other reasons we didnt have confidence they could do the job. We asked around and was given the name of McKinnon heating and cooling. We were so relieved to speak to someone knowledgeable and who followed through. They made extra efforts to get us up and running. After dealing with 3 other companies, we are thrilled to have them take on on complicated HVAC system.

McKinnon has serviced my old boiler since I bought my house in 2005. They installed it in 1996 for the previous owners. This year it finally died and they installed a new combi-boiler and stayed extra time to make sure it was all set up and working properly. Great service, friendly staff, simple no-hassle pricing.

I was going nuts trying to find someone to install a heat pump hot water heater, getting very high quotes for the install and bs from various companies trying to sell less efficient products. McKinnon was recommended to me by someone and they had a completely reasonable quote to do the install PLUS they would remove the old gas on-demand heater and cap the gas line (the other companies would have made me hire a separate gas guy to do that).

Communication was great and the crew that came to do the work were careful and pleasant, and they even followed up to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction. A+

We had a great experience with McKinnons. We had a broken water heater on a weekend and Michael was extremely helpful over the phone with information and pricing.
The crew that came came to install a combi boiler worked very hard and were very professional. As we have a complicated layout, another crew came the following day to fix our thermostat and everything now works perfectly.

Our water heater broke down and McKinnon came in the next day with
a replacement after our call. The installers were very polite and professional. Both gentlemen were tidy and sociable.
In just a few hours we had a new water heater and hot water for showers, dishes etc. We were very pleased with the service and communication with the McKinnon staff. We would certainly recommend this company.

Owner Michael is an excellent communicator and gave us sound advice about which type of boiler suited our needs and our home best. The installation went well. There was a small issue with setting up a smart thermostat, but McKinnon sent a specialist who fixed the problem quickly. We are very satisfied with the whole experience.

When we bought our home 10+ years ago we knew we needed to make an investment in our HVAC system, it was old and inefficient. Every season change over I would cross my fingers the furnace would give us heat and the AC would keep us cool.
