Roy arrived quickly and located and showed me the problem on his camera. A tree root had gotten into the sewer drain line, so he cleaned out the line and everything is now working fine. He recommended I call him every 2-3 years to maintain the integrity of the line to avoid high costs which many companies charge. The tree roots will continue to grow so having him inspect the line in 2-3 years is very important. The alternative is to dig down and replace a portion of the clay drain pipe which is extremely expensive. Roy was very reasonable with his charges and extremely pleasant to deal with. I will definitely recommend his services to my friends.

We live in Markham/Unionville and about 3 years ago our basement flooded due to roots in the main drain. Roy came out quickly, found the clean-out (under concrete and carpet), inspected and cleaned the main drain. We recently had him out again to inspect the drain for root re-growth (there was some but the roots are growing through the clay pipe where there is some misalignment) and he cleaned the drain again.

Roy was very good to deal with and provided excellent service at a fair price.

Roy took care of the sewer clog issue I was having. He was very prompt, knowledgeable, honest and helpful. He gave good suggestions on how to fix the issue in the log term. Highly recommended.

We had roots in the sewer pipe and as a result basement got flooded. Not a pleasant experience... After getting quotes for 9-10k from Roto Rooter and other big guys suggesting we need to replace the pipe under the house and all the way to the main line, we called Roy on Saturday. He arrived in couple of hours and investigated the pipe with camera and locator, opened the clean-out and removed a root from the drain. He showed us through the camera the pipe is in good condition and does not need replacement, saving us thousands of dollars the big guys would like us to think we need to spend. Roy was very professional, with no 'bull' attitude, I would highly recommend Roy before going to spend money on other guys for unnecessary work.

Our basement drains were overflowing. I spoke to Roy on Friday at 4:00pm and came Saturday morning at 10:00, as he promised. He put a camera down the drain to view the blockage and unclogged the drain. He then put the camera back down the drain and asked me to run the water to ensure the blockage was cleared. He noticed the blockage is due to the city pipe being broken and I need to call them to have it replaced. Roy provided me a DVD for my reference and to show the city and indicated he would be more than happy to speak to them if that was necessary.

I have never been so impressed with the quality and level of service that I was provided. Roy was so incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, honest and such a nice fellow.

I would recommend this gentlemen to everyone and I’m happy to know that they still exist.

Called Roy after getting a few quotes for repair of a plugged sewer drain.
Other companies determined that the sewer drain was probably broken below the mushroom clean out vent on the front lawn. Quotes to replace a 5 feet section of sewer pipe and tee connection ranged from $1800 to $2000 approx. Called Roy he was in the area and came by immediately. He thought that the drain may only be plugged and not broken. He was able to access the sewer drain through the clean out on the lawn by using a six foot plunger and he was able to clear the obstruction. He clearly knew his trade and was very reasonable with his invoice. Total $135 plus tax. It was such a relief to find such an honest upfront gentleman. I have actually given his company name to family and friends in Toronto in case they ever need drain work. Sincere thanks Roy you are the best

The job Roy performed was satisfactory. But we found the price
he charged ($300.00) was unreasonably high for the 1 hour and
20 minutes, performing the job, all he did was unplug the drain
in our basement.

Roy Gibson provided excellent service at a very reasonable and fair rate. He came promptly and even on a Saturday! Anytime I need a plumber again, I will call Mayday!
