I moved to a house with a smelly basement and need to find out if comes from the floor drain.
After the google search, I decide to give Roy a call. He came on Saturday morning right on time. Very experienced and professional. Before his camera inspection, he went to thebasement and did a quick check and determined this is not a sewer smell. After I confirmed that I still want the inspection, he brought his camera and started the inspection. He put the camera for all clean out point, during the inspection, he was giving lot of professional advice on my layout of drain. The inspection has proved that I don't have a problem. I am happy that I can rule out the smell from floor drain. I should have done the inspection so that I don't have to waste my time and assumed the smell was from the floor drain.
The smell should be built up from a mis-behaved cat from the previous owner. I started to work on the penetrated smell on wood and and already see improvement now.
I am happy that I found Roy and would do a inspection every couple of years to avoid any drainage problem.

Roy Gibson is highly recommended by the City of Markham to do the job to removed tree root blockage for the sewage system. He is honest, friendly, expert in the field. Others were going to charge me $2000 to fix the problem. Roy is honest and did a great job only costed me the hour that he needed the get the job done. Sewage backed up caused by the tree root costs me so much headache and money.

For his time and service the final cost was more than reasonable compared to what other contractors would have charged to just come out and diagnosis the problem let alone fix it.
