Roy came highly recommended by a friend and hundreds of 10 star reviews on Homestars. I asked him to have a look after another company tried to scare me into spending thousands of dollars for digging up half of my basement to replace the drain under my concrete basement floor. Although access through the existing floor drain trap was difficult and didn't allow him to use his biggest cutter he was able to remove 90% of the roots and resolved the issue to my fullest satisfaction. He also referred me to a reliable contractor to replace the floor drain trap down the road. Although it took him longer than originally expected he stuck to his original quote. Triple A contractor

Roy saved us thousands. Another company told me that the roots in our sewer pipes required a complete pipe relay. He snaked out the roots within an hour and the pipes are as good as new. Thanks for the quick response Roy. Definitely recommend!

Mayday Drain Services came to our rescue with plunger and drain camera in hand. Our main drain was clogged (again). Roy arrived on time and within minutes the clog was gone. Roy was great! He was punctual and very pleasant to deal with.We had some great conversation as well. I called him due to a plug in our drains which I wanted cleaned out. He explained how our pipes worked and the problems that may occur if we cleaned them blindly. He then brought his pipe cam and we had them checked out. They were actually in excellent shape and the clog was better dealt with in a different way. Roy explained to me what had caused our clog in the first place and made some recommendations as to how to prevent similar problems in the future. I highly recommend Roy for his honesty and the peace of mind that brings.

On a Saturday evening (during the Christmas holiday season) I had a minor flood in my basement coming out of the two drains - which I assumed was sewer backup. I live in a condo community and when I called the corporation emergency number they were of no help to me. I found Roy's number and called him that evening.
I live in the north end of Brampton, which was out of the way for him - he came first thing Sunday morning (because I mentioned to him I had to leave at 10am) and fished his camera through, where he detected & cleared 2 blockages.
He allowed me to watch him work and explained everything we were seeing on the camera, and made me a copy on DVD.
He also ended up charging me $100 less then the original price he quoted. I haven't come across too many companies who were as honest and/or accommodating as Roy.
It was a very pleasurable experience for me, I would definitely recommend using MayDay.

Good thing I got a second opinion from Roy. Saved me money. Previous estimate required digging and replacing pipe filled with tree roots. Roy was able to unclog and cut out roots with his snake. Professional, responsible, industrious, honest. Thanx Roy.

It was around 10pm at night that I had noticed water coming up through my two drains in the basement of my house. I quickly checked out Homestars and found MayDay and Roy's contacts info. The next morning (the morning of a major snowstorm) I called Roy. He said he had a call in Markham in the morning (on the other side of the city from me) but that he would be able to make it around 1pm. Sure enough, Roy showed up before 1pm to inspect my backed up drains. He quickly used his drain snake to remove the clog in the pipes underneath my house. He was completely professional and charged me exactly what was quoted. I would highly recommend Roy and MayDay.

Roy does an excellent job of cleaning out roots from my maple tree when they start to get into my pipes. He is always very pleasant and his prices are reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone who has this problem. Last time he went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me to find a handyman.

Moved into an older house (40 yrs old). No clue the condition of the drains or sewer back up issues, so called Roy for an inspection.

He came to our house and snaked the drains, to ensure no blockages. We found a few spots where tree roots entered the drains, and caused some paper and feces clots....so we sent the cutter down there, and cut up all them branches. LOL.

Well worth it, because its better than having crap flow back into your basement!

We had an serious drain back up problem. Roy came down to my house on time and get the job done efficiently. The sewer line is in perfect shape now. I would for sure recommend Roy to all my friends.
