I called during the ice storm for a blocked drain. Roy came right away. He couldn't fix the problem but he arranged for help which should come tomorrow--and this during an ice storm and right before Christmas.

Roy came highly recommended to us. We had been quoted $6000 by another company to replace sewer pipes under our house that were filled with tree roots. They wanted to dig three holes in our finished basement. Roy checked the drains with his camera and informed us he could cut out 90% of the roots. He was actually able to remove 95%. Our problem was solved for $280. We will have him back every 2-3 years for maintenance. He also recommended a brand of toilet that was easy to install and has worked well for us. We couldn't be more pleased with Roy.

I called May-Day Drain services when sewage backed up in my basement floor drain. Roy camera inspected my drain from the main stack to the outside vent trap. I had called another company who told me camera inpection was a waste of time and expense. I now know my main drainage system is in great condition and doesn't need repair which is great information to know, and Roy cleared the outside trap with a unique plunger and gave me great advice how to keep this from happening again and options of what to do if it does. He is very helpful and honest and fair. Nice to meet a professional who doesn't take advantage and is forthcoming with information and guidance. I was impressed with how thorough he was and how he explained everything so I knew what I was dealing with. Would highly recommend him and be cautious of companies who tell you there is no need for camera viewing. Price was very reasonable and information very valuable. Thanks Roy.

I had a slow drain issue that was backing up in the basement. Roy was able to quickly determine and resolve the problem. He was very reasonably priced and provided excellent service for the money.

I had Roy come out to our new (old) home right after we took possession last week, to take a look at the main drain under the house and tell us what kind of shape it was in.

If you haven't called Roy yet, do. He was easy to get in touch with, and arrived on time. He charged exactly what he said he would. Also, the other contractors that he works with (namely, Viktor) are an absolute joy. Roy made some recommendations for maintaining our old clay pipes so that we don't have to undergo a costly replacement, and Viktor also gave us good advice on the general plumbing of our house, and his team will be coming back to do the rest of the plumbing of our home reno.

We had a nightmare when we discovered a basement partially floods. Long story to tell, one private company and the region (three times) came to my house, none of them resolved the problem; even worse they couldn't locate my sewer pipe out the house. A friend recommends "Mayday Drain Services", Roy after a couple hours located my sewer line more than 12' down with an elevation of 50% or more and located the broken pipe. It was amaze that the broken pipe was exactly where he pointed after the digging. Excellent services with the right price. People of Ontario, this is the Company for pluming, not other!!!. For now on it will be my first on the list. Thanks Roy

After a couple of loads of laundry on Easter Sunday I went down to my basement to find a big pool of skinky water around my main drain. The city cleared the blockage temporarily but I knew the issue still needed to be dealt with properly. After scoring Homestars I finally called Mayday the following Sunday, assuming I’d leave a message and set up an appointment for the following week. Roy offered to come immediately (at no extra cost) and told me over the phone what my issue likely was, what he'd do to fix it and what it would cost me (very reasonable in my opinion). About an hour later Roy was at my home. He found an extensive root blockage and cleared it completely. What a joy he was to deal with, super friendly and thorough, but he also took the time to make sure the job was done properly. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and will recommend him to any friends who find themselves in similar situations.

I am absolutely convinced that using any other company than Mayday Drain Services is just a compromise and you are losing money; It is for the second time when I had the chance to use their services and DEFINITELY my expectations were totally fulfilled and I was 100% satisfied; I had in my house a VERY PROFESSIONAL and VERY HONEST person. Roy is a technician who really knows his job, he displays respect for his customers, and he is doing a PERFECT JOB! IF I will ever need similar assistance, I will use his services ONLY. I am so confident that anybody who really needs a honest and professional person shall ask him for assistance. THANK YOU ROY! Very punctual, with an eye for details, working very clean and very fast, Roy solved a problem for which were before in our house at least 5-6 roto rooters who did each and every time a very sloppy job. Roy provided a very accurate diagnostic and he verified very thoroughly afterward the cleaning that he performed. I am definitely strongly recommending him as being the BEST in his profession in GTA area.
