This unit had a "radio frequency" Honeywell gas valve that is no longer available but we had the conversion kit on our vehicle. We also replaced the pilot assembly and set you up for a fan and remote as well. Such parts - We always have on our vehicles. Thank you for having Gas Fix service your Kingsman and Instaflame fireplaces. The resistance on the ON/OFF switch was high which indicated it required replacement. We had that switch on the vehicle for the repair to get the Kingsman unit working properly again. Please note that the Instaflame unit will require a Mercury Flame Switch conversion at some point in the future.
