A1 Air Conditioning & Heating

Recently over long weekend our furnace started acting up and making noises. Around 5pm it stopped working all together. It was a Sunday and I left a voicemail. Within 15 minutes a repair person called back and I explained what was happening. With it being a long weekend the rates are higher as they are with any company. The technician suggested to put on our fireplace for some warmth and said we should be fine for temperatures since the forecast wasn't saying low temps outside. He said that it would save us extra $$ and he would make sure that we had the first appointment on the tuesday morning but if we needed to call them back. As it turned out we were fine until tuesday and sure enough they came out and knew exactly what was wrong. Within minutes they had a fair estimate and within an hour it was fixed. The technician showed and explained what needed to be done and was very polite. I would definitely recommend A1 Air Conditioning and Heating from Oakville

After and inspection on a job gone bad, a carbon monoxide scare, a complete furnace shut down in -15 Celcius, this team kept us warm and got us up and going in less then 24hrs. Thank you for saving our lives. Forever grateful l!!

We have used A-1 Air Conditioning & Heating for almost 17 yrs. We have been very satisfied customers. We have purchased our air conditioner, furnace and humidifier from this company. We are now going to have our ducts cleaned by Pro Air Duct Cleaning Services because they are recommended by A-1. Scott is the sales man who has helped us determine what products are right for us and he has been extremely professional and helpful. Installers were also very professional, I believe Rob installed the furnace recently. Karen in the office was instrumental with Scott in making sure we had a replacement furnace installed the very next day AFTER our 29 year old pulse furnace finally packed it in. I had a Daikin furnace installed by A1 air cond./heating this week. They sent a very experienced salesman who patiently explained everything in great detail, answered all my questions and quickly arranged the installation on very short notice. The installers came on time and were efficiently done in 3 hours. So far I'm happy with my new furnace and A1's professional service. I never thought I would enjoy looking at and using the smart thermostat that A1 provided... NEST is fantastic.

Having an engineering background it was a pleasure to have dispatch 68716 come to our home prepared to install the new furnace, air filter , humidifier and air conditioning unit. While on site he always showed his professional experienced approach to ensure the installation met or exceeded our expectations. We definitely would recommend A1 Air Conditioning and Heating.

Technicians arrived on time, perhaps minutes earlier 7 a.m. they were friendly, rolled out their carpeting to protect floors, they showed me my options for installation and were efficient in getting the job done in a timely manner.

My old furnace broke down in the middle of winter, had no choice but to buy a new one. They were pretty good at installing the new one the only issue is my basement doesn't have a drain and they couldn't connect to any drain, so I had to hire a plumber to come to my house and finish the installation. Used Dispatch # 67877. Other than that the team was friendly. Not really their fault as a new homes wouldn't have had this problem.

Returned from vacation to find furnace not working, pipes frozen. Called another company who kept promising to come and didn't. Called A1 they came in 2 hours, diagnosed the problem and we had a new furnace up and running by the end of the day. Excellent service, would never call another company.

Our furnace quit in the early eve of the coldest day yet this winter. The indoor temp dropped to 54 degrees. I called A-1 and left a message asking to have a service call first thing in the morning if possible. I received a call just before 8am the next morning and arrangements were made to have a technician come out between 9am and 1pm. The price for a service call was given to me upfront, and was told the technician would provide a detailed estimate of the problem.

Mike the A-1 Technician, was at my house before 9:30 a.m., friendly and informative while explaining the issue with the furnace. Luckily it was a $79 fix (along with the $99 service call - which I found to be realistic and quite fair). He was finished in no time at all. The furnace was running great, the house was beginning to heat up and I was a happy camper!

Would not use anyone other than A-1, and highly recommend their services. I was informed a preventative maintenance program on my furnace, and Mike was kind enough to leave the information with me.

I called A1 as they had previously installed a new heating/AC system in my house. They were efficient, professional and once it was decided to replace the old system, they made a point of getting the job done in a timely manner. The only reason why i didn't give a 10 out of 10 was that they had trouble diagnosing the original problem which led to multiple visits. Otherwise, a job well done!
