I am very grateful to Michael and have no hesitancy recommending them for not only responding quickly to my service call and fixing the appliance, but going above and beyond to help me navigate the warranty process. Kudos to you for assisting customers and standing up for us when it appears that a manufacturer could be taking advantage of a situation.

I met this crew while they worked on the house across the street. They sent someone to clear my porch when they saw me struggling to shovel my snow. They installed a new door and window for me today. Delays due to COVID were encountered but completely outside of their control.

Sam was polite efficient and promptly replaced the heating element in my dryer. He also meticulously vacuumed all of the lint without judgment. When he examined the drum he noted another problem and replaced the belt. Unlike some other contractors I have dealt with, he had all the parts at the ready and patiently explained all aspects and suggestions for ongoing maintenance. He will definitely be my first call should I need any other appliance repaired and I have no hesitation recommending this company to others. Thank you so much!

I was very impressed with the conduct and expertise of Quinton and Kyle when they responded to our frantic call to repair the furnace on an unseasonably bitter mid April snowstorm. I was very skeptical of AtlasCare prior to the arrival of these knowledgeable technicians but I didn't hesitate to sign up for a service plan because they went out of their way to explain everything and helped us out with a lot of our heating system issues. Thanks guys for a job well done!

This company was highly recommended to me by a very reputable contractor but the only point on which this company met or exceeded expectations was the speed with which they arrived to pick up the deposit for constructing the roofline and columns for my front porch. Feel free to give Dale and his crew a call if you have an appreciation for every negative cliche associated with contractors, the complaints about how the structure recommended by the architect was 'overkill' and the beam was going to be 'so much more work' and the scattering of my personal information when someone left his clipboard on the roof and papers were strewn about the neighbourhood. Feeble excuses (so and so starts late because he doesn't like rush hour traffic and only got an hour in before the rain started, then 3 days later when he graced you with his presence on a sunny day he had left early for a family gathering, it's the suppliers fault that the columns didn't arrive - for weeks, I have other jobs that are more of a priority). A job that should have taken 2 weeks tops took 2 months and the neighbours who observed their work ethic likened their techniques to the 3 Stooges because they appeared to do nothing but consult, scratch their heads, and proceed slowly whenever they were onsite. When 'professionals' like roofers needed to be coordinated again, they would come in the evening hours in contradiction of the City bylaws (nothing after 7 pm). 'Sure, they can work til 11, they bring their lights'... Less than 6 months later the paint has discoloured on the underside of the roof and the eavestroughs are dangling off and their less than 6 months old (where are you putting the eavestroughs, oh, that's a good question) and I can't get them back here to fix them despite emails over the last two weeks.

Last year, when the ecoEnergy audit program was reinstated I was skeptical of using GreenSaver but I thought I'd take a chance on a local company that had what appeared to be a professional call centre to book my appointments. My experience has been that this is a company that considers themselves truly blameless, faulting their own technicians, the government, and leaving me with little more than a government email address to pursue my refund after the program officially closed. My final assessments were not submitted to the NRC until 3 months after my audit and during this time Greensavers told me to just be patient, the government was processing my refund. Almost 4 months after my audit, and 3 1/2 months after it was an NRC requirement, Greensavers asked me to sign an attestation form. When I suggested that perhaps their role was to facilitate my claim a manager told me 'the government doesn't want to hear from us'. Hmm... wish they had been more forthcoming with this information before they took my money. As you can see from my other reviews on HomeStars I usually am quite generous when praise is due and I would urge ANYONE to be very cautious when dealing with this company.

We absolutely love our new porch railings and found this company a pleasure to deal with. The quote was very reasonable and the final product was installed a couple of weeks earlier than expected.

Otto and his team worked steadily and efficiently to replace our ancient crumbling porch with an awesome structure with stone facing and brick pillars. The contractor who installed our railings was very impressed with his workmanship as are many of our neighbours. Also in the scope of work was the regrading of the front lawn which previously contained a huge hump that made mowing problematic. The whole team was very polite and personable and patiently explained what was accomplished each day and what next steps were. We appreciated their attention to detail and especially their approachability and willingness to address our concerns. It's almost time to call them back to do the remaining cement work because the City has replaced the sidewalks!

Hi Dan, Sorry it has taken me so long to express our sincere appreciation for Elia's management of the multitude of improvements that have transformed our home. It was almost a year ago that my husband had a major accident at work and shortly thereafter I met you in the horror that was our basement and the only change I could contemplate at the time was gutting it to view the space. Even though the scope of work increased exponentially throughout the months and there were a few bumps along the renovation path, we always felt that Elia was sincerely looking out for our best interests and it truly pained him when matters couldn't be resolved within a reasonable timeline or were out of our control. At all times we felt that Elia commiserated with us and his apologies and appreciation of our inconvenience were genuine. You are very lucky to have a resource like Elia representing your company. Also, kudos to Haydee as she made us feel that even though the contractual payments were due, she would not collect until she was sure that the work was satisfactory. Rocco was true to his word and had the permits available in a week! I would highly recommend him as he is very easy to work with and he included other items in the permit (backwater valve) without even being asked. The detailed drawings were completed quickly, and I felt confident enough to go on vacation while he sought the permit. Thanks so much Rocco!

One of my coworkers is not easily impressed and when he spoke so highly of Arborwood I contacted them to remove a 50+ year old tree that was entwined in hydo wires and a cause of much chagrin to our neighbours. Wenda provided me with an estimate and dealt with the city to confirm we didn't need to have a permit nor replanting fees. They even rearranged the removal date to coincide with our renovation plans. Her teams arrived on time and within a few hours and no interruption to hydro, telephone, cable nor internet, the tree is GONE! There were no surprises when the bill was tabulated, it was exactly as agreed. I really appreciated Wenda's close attention to this matter as we contacted an arborist last year who had been highly rated on Homestars and he had nowhere near the professionalism of Wenda and her team. Do not hesitate to contact this company, you will be very pleased.

One of our downspouts fell off after one of our recent torrential rainstorms and I had called another very highly rated company on Homestars to merely update a quote and heard nothing back from them for weeks. So, I went on to Royal Crown Aluminum and I have been very impressed by the level of service and their appreciation of our desperate situation, Eni called our home and offered to come out the same day (Saturday) to view our eavestroughs and he made a recommendations regarding what we really needed fixed as opposed to what the other companies tried to sell us on. He also told us how we could easily fix an overhang that was preventing us from fully opening the front door. Our pleasant experience wasn't limited to the accommodating estimator! Rafit (in the office) prepared the formal quote and sent it to me by email on Monday and called both contact numbers to be sure it was received it). We called Tuesday to schedule the install and due to the drainage issue it was completed the next day while we were at work! Our warranty was provided by email and the new eavestroughs look great. The crew made a second trip to speak to us to ensure we were happy with the product and the clean up. Thanks to everyone at RCA it was a very painless experience and I'd certainly recommend them for any other eavestrough work in future. You won't regret it. A small hole in the driveway quickly eroded into what looked like a sinkhole or link to a very scary ecosystem. I called Dave in a panic, but he assured me that he could get to my property within the next few days and that it would be safely repaired. He was very respectful of the lawn and the clean up of all debris. Would highly recommend him in future.

Our 40 year old garage door fell off its rails into a pile of rubble on New Years Day. My husband and I had to put a tarp over the gaping hole to try to secure our snowblower and other property. Steve answered my calls and showed up on Jan 2nd to provide an estimate. He arrived on Monday with the new door and installed it. He even replaced a broken window at no charge. There was no problem getting him to return when the door needed adjustments due to frost/thaw activity. A simple phone call and he appeared happy to help. I really appreciated that he didn't take advantage of us when we had absolutely no recourse but to buy a new door ASAP.

In the summer of 2008, I couldn't get ANYONE over to fix my leaking roof. SMART Roofing returned my phone calls promptly, provided a quick estimate and best of all showed up when they said they would. They even called before they dropped off the supplies because one of the cars was in the driveway and they were concerned they might block it in. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
