Roy and Armand arrived on time, were excellent painters, completed the work in one day (vs other quotes of 2 days), cleaned up after the work and were great to deal with. Would highly recommend the company!

First time using Ductwise and would highly recommend them. Jacob and Bailey were very professional, thorough and personable. They called when they were on their way. They protected our new floors and cleaned up after themselves. Jacob showed us pictures of the ducts. There was a lot of construction material in the vents/ducts and the house feels much cleaner now.

We met with 3 companies and decided on Hills Movers as they were close by and competitive. John was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Any correspondence before the move was replied to promptly. The moving boxes, wrapping paper and tape were a nice touch and very useful. Timing was important to us as we were moving from Whitby to Port Hope and wanted to arrive around the time of the key availability. On the day of the move they called prior to arriving and were on time. We were so happy with the crew, Kevin, Karl, De-Angelo and Shaden. They were careful, efficient, great at taking apart and re-assembing the furniture and really nice guys to deal with. It was a long day, around 10 am to 9:30 pm but they didn't complain and were professional to the end. We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them. Great job guys!!

David was very professional and knowledgable. We had drywall damage from leak in kitchen bulkhead. He did a very thorough job of preparing our kitchen and floors prior to his work and included stain blocker before painting to ensure the whole bulkhead was the same colour. The repair work was very smooth and doesn't even look like it was repaired. Great job and would highly recommend David, a very nice person who truly believes in customer service.

We called and met with a number of companies before deciding on Aire One Whitby to install our furnace. Courtney the office manager was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable on which furnace was right for our house, helping us to figure out the rebate programs available and working with us to give us a very competitive price. The installation team, Paul and Luke, was amazing. They were on time, knowledgeable and made sure the house was cleaned up before they left. We would definitely recommend them!

Steve was a great specialist, very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Endrin and Genti were our installers. They were on time, did a great job and cleaned up at the end of the day. It has rained since the installation and everything looks good, no issues. Great job and would recommend them for sure!

We have an apartment size freezerless fridge in our bar area that was no longer cold inside. We looked into a number of companies on Home Stars and chose All Ontario Appliance Clinic. Are we ever glad we did. They arrived very quickly and Jerome did a thorough diagnosis. He left and looked for the part on line. When he couldn't find it he found another one that he thought would fit and ordered that. It worked! Jerome is very personable and knowledgeable and we will definitely use him in the future for all our repair needs. Great guy, great company and we would highly recommend them.

We use Comfort Shoppe for our fireplace maintenance each year. Company is good to deal with, Yvonne is very friendly and Corey our technician was terrific. On time, very knowledgeable and professional and we will definitely request him next year.

We usually get our air conditioner maintenance performed by Comfort Masters but this time used them for our furnace maintenance. Ricardo was on time, very professional and knowledgeable. We would definitely request him as our technician next year. Heather was also great to deal with at the office.

Mike runs a great company, very professional and customer service driven. Mike and Kyle arrived on time, did a great job, and cleaned up after the work. Would definitely recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

I placed a service call for my dishwasher on Saturday and was given a Tuesday service call between 12-4. Was told I would receive an automated phone confirmation the day before and the technician would call me when he was 2 service calls away on Tuesday. I didn't receive an automated confirmation so I called Tuesday morning. There was no technician confirmed. I talked to two reps and then a supervisor. Supervisor was to look into it with dispatch and call me back in 15-30 minutes. Had to call him back 1 1/2 hours later and had to leave message for him. When he finally called back he still didn't have any news, 4 hours after my first call. I cancelled. Do not recommend Sears for this service which is unfortunate because every other service I've used them for was good.

We required our kitchen, dining room, hallway/stair stringers, ensuite bathroom, front porch and garage walls/ceiling painted. Doug responded quickly to our call and came by to provide the quote. It's amazing to us that all this work was completed in one day! Tracy and her crew were great, and Doug, thanks for pitching in as well! They prepped and cleaned up well, and the painting was top notch. They were a fun group and we would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

My garage door opener broke on Thursday. I called Friday morning and Chad was able to send Ryan the same afternoon - great service so we didn't have to wait until Monday! Ryan replaced the spring quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend Whitby Garage Doors and would personally use them again.

We recently had our annual fireplace maintenance completed by Andrew from The Comfort Shoppe. He was prompt, very knowledgeable and friendly and we would highly recommend him. It's an old fireplace but looks and works great. Andrew really took his time to give it a thorough cleaning. Great job as always.

We installed our deck in 2013. The Store Manager provided a design for the deck and we went with Timber Tech which turned out to be a great choice. His suggestions for lighting and railing were perfect. The installation team of Greg and Matt were very professional and were perfectionists which we appreciated. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. Along the way we asked for changes and they were flexible and accommodating. Great service! It's been 2 years and the Management has changed but the service has not. We had some electrical issues with our lights and needed guidance with cleaning products and Stan Weiland, VP of the Deck Store was extremely helpful in resolving our issues. Installations are one thing but continued service is key to the success of a good company and we would absolutely recommend them. You can't go wrong with this company for who they are and their workmanship. The deck still looks great after 2 years and we expect it will be for years to come.

A great experience. Tom was very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. Our floors were old and discoloured and we had a variety of shades of oak on our floors and handrails. We weren't sure what colour to go with but Tom, Scott and Rad picked the perfect stain. They did a great job of refinishing our hallway and dining room floor as well as staining all of our handrails and stair stringers so that we had a more consistent colour. Very friendly with great customer service and workmanship. Moved our furniture and put it back. Would highly recommend them!

Great job from start to finish. We had replaced our kitchen flooring and backsplash and felt it would make sense to have our kitchen cabinets painted. They were bleached oak, outdated and discoloured. Tabatha came by to give us a quote and she was very knowledgable, professional and friendly. She helped us pick the right colour (so many to choose from) and new hardware. We really appreciated the excellent communications - follow up emails, confirmation calls etc. Knew exactly what to expect. Zack and his crew were punctual and considering we had just replaced our floors we were a little anxious about any damage. I couldn't believe how thorough their prep work was. They were quick and cleaned up behind them. When they brought the doors/drawers back they were installed in a short time and looked amazing. Excellent job and we would absolutely recommend them. Very professional company with great people.

Our vinyl siding was very dirty after some renovations and needed cleaning. I compared 5 companies including process, price and reviews and decided to use Rob. He is a very personable, knowledgeable professional. The house looks amazing. Rob didn't just pressure wash it, he used safe products and scrubbed it clean where necessary. His pricing was competitive and he was extremely thorough. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

Got three quotes to replace some chipped patio stones and replace the edging around the front garden. Leroy's price was competitive and he was able to complete the job quickly within a week before we had family over for Father's Day. Very personable and knowledgeable. LeRoy and his crew (Tim and Pat) did a great job, checking with me along the way to make sure it was what I wanted and cutting down the stones so we were happy with the height. Sometimes it's hard to get someone to work on a small job and Leroy treated it with the importance of a large job. Looks great! Will definitely use him again and recommend him to family and friends.

3 of our posts broke during a big windstorm. I called 3 companies and decided to go with McFaul Fencing. Dave came over and gave me a quote, made sure the locates were done (no one else mentioned this) and completed the work within 2 weeks at a good price. Great job, completed ahead of time and cleaned up after themselves. Didn't even know they came until we noticed the new posts. Would definitely recommend them.

We purchased our A/C last year from Stouffville Home & Comfort and require an annual service inspection to maintain our warrantee. Mitchell was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. Gave us some helpful hints on air circulation. Would recommend him.

Had carpet in 3 bedrooms installed. Great quality and an amazing installation team (Brent and Bob). Very helpful with disassembling/moving furniture, cleaned up after themselves and even vaccuumed each of the rooms as completed. Very, very nice people - personable and knowledgable and most important, did a terrific job. Highly recommend them!

Dan Pederson installed a new digital timer for my outside porch lights and checked out a faulty potlight in the kitchen. He was very personable and knowledgable and the company has a good warranty. I would definitely recommend them.

Based on his knowledge, promptless, references and competitive pricing we went with him. His installation team was terrific - on time and cleaned up after themselves.
