A Team Appliance Repair

Called this company for a dryer repair, the came the same day. What started off as an $80 service call, ended up being $855 to be left with a broken dryer. He first diagnosed the issue which cost $290 and the replacement of parts was another $455 which he magically had in his car (Honda Civic). They are dishonest people and are not licensed. He then told me not to start the dryer due to the sealant setting and left. When I went to start the dryer which still wasnt working, I furiously called customer service which was a complete waste of time. The give you nothing but ridiculous excuses, place you on hold while youre speaking and hand up on you! Its been a daily nightmare for 3 weeks now. We later had a
licensed technician repair our dryer and show us the parts that were replaced in their original condition. This has been the worst experience of my life! Save your money and go somewhere else. Like others who posted reviews I was very unhappy with this company. They came on time but I am sure that they inflated the price of parts. MY wife dealt with them and she accepted what she was told by the tec. Much to her surprise the total bill came to over $900 for a 30 year old clothes dryer. The parts charges were for a belt ($195) and a heating element ($345). These parts he just happened to have in his truck,,,,lucky us.

I am sorry I did not check HomeStars before calling this company but it was a rough day and my google search for an appliance repair company turned up this company at first hit so I called,,,,,my bad. Stay away from this company, real bad.

This company one technician come to my door without any checking for my freeze they told me your main board your cooling system issue actually I call another technician he check nothing any thing problem only compressor fill up Gass only one problem this guy do not know how you know I ask him my freeze is not cold they say uiur circuit issue and they charge me labour for more than 327.70$ doing nothing I told him even I never making thin money within half hour they all are not proper find it and wrong issue told me and they charge me 327.70$ labour.
I never recommend to this type of technician to any budy pl careful to book appointment about this company I trust this company so I pay money whever they told me

Technician came to service a refrigerator that wasn't cooling properly. Told me that it needed a new part and that he would be back in a couple of days. It took him over a week before he came back and within a couple of days the fridge wasn't working again. I called again to get a service on the fridge and again it took over a week for someone to come. I was told that the part is probably malfunctioning but to wait after resetting the system. The next day I called again about the fridge not working and was greeted with much hostility from the service team. In the end the fridge still doesn't work and I'm out over $700!

Just a warning about the A Team Appliance Repair/ Appliance Repair Team - they came to my place yesterday to repair my fridge. They said there was an $80 service fee and then that would be deducted from any labour costs to repair.

I had to work so my father met them at my house. The technician told my father it was an issue with the computer system and that the repair would cost $375 and that he had to pay upfront. So he did. Then the tech opened the back of the fridge, said that the issue wasnt the computer but the compressor and sealed system, which would be $1800. So nothing was done to repair my fridge and Im out $375. When I called the company to complain they said the $375 is a diagnostic fee and would not be refunded.

This company is very sneaky and extorts you where ever they can.
Our washing machine stopped spinning. Called A Team and was told that it would be an $80 charge to come out plus parts and labor to fix.
Service engineer from A Team Repair arrived on time. We had a chat about what had happened. He wanted to me to sign a document to repair the system, with a cost of $295. He opened up the top, looked and then said we needed a part that is $800 and left. No work done.
Since he did not do any of the physical work, I contacted their customer service, who were abhorrent to deal with and in the end hung up.
Please do not fall for this swindling company and go to more reputable repair services.

This company should not be in the service business. They are completely incompentent and rude to thier Customers. They came to fix my washing machine, completly misdiagnosed and charged me almost $330 (I had to get factory tech after to actually fix it). When I asked for refund, that is when the round arounf began. First I was told service mgr would call by the end of day. It did not happen. Next day I called, I was told it takes 24 hrs to get back. No call back. Then I was given the chat link that nobody replies to. This company is a joke - avoid them at all cost - incompentent and no idea about Custmer service

They arrived after over the phone explanation that the service fee was $80. When they arrived they said you will be charged $80 no matter what but to diagnose the problem would be total $250. After looking a two thing (total 20min and calling his manager) he diagnosed my ice dispensing issue as a motherboard failure and said a new one needed to be installed (total cost $450). I reluctantly agreed as I needed it to be fixed and he guaranteed it was the problem, but if it wasn't he would be back to troubleshoot again. The part came in, he replaced and it still didn't work. He claim it needed 5hrs to reset but to call back if it didn't work. Obviously it didn't work. I called back and have not received a date for this repair to be fixed, with them saying it now goes to our warranty department which seems to not exist.

Dryer not working and I had to pre pay for labour and parts
No reply to calls/emails/messages until one email came back saying they were waiting for one more part to come in.
He finally returned with one part-thats all that was needed-so what was the wait for?
The part is online for $17.99
I was charged $588.00 for the part-just the dryer switch that took him 7 minutes to replace and $350 for labour
Yes I timed it because my dog had to be kept in a room as he was afraid of dogs.
