A Team Appliance Repair

This company visited 3 times and was NOT able to resolve the issue, so we ended up buying new appliances. Their policy is no REFUND which overrides the 30 day warrantee period gaurantee I guess as they would refuse to even negotiate a refund, as we were willing to pay for their visit and asked for a $500 refund after all the inconvenience, stress and financial loss they caused us. I have also escalated the issue to BBB.

I echo the poor reviews. I should have read them closer as they are so negative. This is sponsored as a check from google so are at the top. We spent $680 on a repair in August. The machine work for about 45 days and then faulted back to the same error code. I called and asked if they would stand by their repair and fix this as it was the same error. The answer was firm no. It was past 30 days, so I would have to pay for another service call and then what ever a new repair would be. Didnt matter what I said, the customer service agent said there is nothing they would do. In the end as I was obviously upset, she said do what you have to do.

Anyone that reads this. Do not make the same mistake I did. Any company that doesnt stand behind their service and treats customers as if its their fault is the lowest of the low.

This company is promoted in Google search, so it comes up among the first in any GTA search when you need an appliance repaired. I had a broken dishwasher, so I called them. The technician came quickly and, after examining the dishwasher, recommended an engine replacement as the only way to repair the appliance. What he did NOT say was that the company has a 30-day warranty on parts and labor -- it's in very small print on the back of the contract and you will not notice it yourself. The new engine was installed, worked for a month and a half and then failed. The company refused a free follow-up service call because it had been more than thirty days since the installation. Having paid $1500 for repairing the dishwasher, I still have a broken appliance and cannot expect the company to take responsibility for the quality of its work. What kind of appliance repair company does not stand by the quality of its repairs? Customer service was rude: when I called to resolve the issue. Not only did they try to charge me for a follow-up visit by their technician, but they told me about their 30-day warranty on parts and labor that I should learn how to read (meaning the small print in the back of the contract).

I paid for freezer parts but the company won't give me an ETA. I've been waiting 4 months. My leaking freezer is wrecking the wood floor, but they refuse to schedule another appointmen to help me stop the leaking while I wait for parts.

Very disappojnted by the sceduling of the appoint, and what I receive as service from my money. They are disclosing the 80$ visit fee to come, diagnose and propose the labours/material to fix your proble,
The guy just shown, spent 10 minutes on the diagnostic and announce 280$ in labour to fix the mother board.
15 minutes later he declared that this didn't work by resetting the mother board so the part will cost me an additional 580$ in parts.
Do not trust this company - the 280$ is a flat service fee that the company is asking the repair guy to charge.

Head this warning! This was a terrible experience. They don't call back when they say they will- you will have to chase them. We had a leak in our washing machine. The technician told us it was the drum and ordered a new part- he ordered the wrong part and it didn't work. Weeks went by and we heard nothing. We called, followed up etc. We were told that they don't follow up with customers because they have too many customers. When I said that we want our money back I got transferred to accounting services who said that they would call within 24 hours. Surprise- no one has called, there are no supervisors to talk to (shocking) and I suspect our money is now gone. Absolutely deplorable. Jazzy is the person I spoke to and apparently is the only person that works there. She is very rude.

This company sent their technician and claimed that he checked everything wanted money and he claimed it needed a compressor. This was not true as the fridge was still cooling on the upper part the freezer part was not good. We qualified from LG for a free compressor replacement if needed they did not check anything be careful with these people they will take you for a ride.

Totally got taken by these people trying to go after them they came in and said I had to replace my subzero motherboard and said it was $3000 find out from reputable dealer. The parts only $750 and the part didnt even need to be replaced run for the hills. The part put in isnt even current part for this year obviously bought the part off eBay I doubt they even changed it. All I needed was the control panel replace for $295.!!!

Calling, "The A Team Appliance Repair", was a HUGE MISTAKE! The original service call was to replace a water circulating pump in a builtin dishwasher, which was done. During this process, the door was damaged and the buttons recessed about a half an inch into the door as well as the plastic trim around the door being cracked and the front panel left loose. These damages did not exist prior to, but occurred as a result of the service techs handling of the appliance during the service call. The company refused to accept responsibility for these damages but instead said the additional repairs would cost another $600.00+ to complete. I found it odd that the service tech not only could quote a price off the top of his head but also had a part which was discontinued by the manufacturer and no longer available. Also, the water inflow line was never reconnected I had to contact a plumber to complete this repair for an additional cost of $250.00. Not a company you want to call for Appliance service.
