Premier Smart Homes

If I could give these guys 11/10, I would. For anyone considering home automation, I highly recommend this company for two main reasons: (1) the team and their work ethic, and (2) the Control4 home automation system.

I have never worked with a more diligent, dedicated, SMART group of contractors. These guys are true experts at what they do. There is no problem that they aren't able to troubleshoot. They are extremely responsive to any requests. They know their systems inside and out, and are very creative in finding solutions that fit your home - which is not always easy.

Also, the Control4 interface is absolutely amazing. Forgive the layperson description here. It works over wifi, so there is no need for breaking drywall or for hardwire installations. The Control4 app is intuitive and easy to use, and we can basically control our home from our iPhones, our TV, and a 'smart' remote control (or you can get build in wall consoles or iPads). We have full control of our lighting system, security, motorized blinds, audiovisual systems, and thermostats, 24/7, from anywhere in the world. We also have motion-sensor activated lighting in certain areas - so no need to ever touch a light switch if you don't want to. However, the Control4 customized keypads (which replace your regular light switches) are so cool that you WILL still want to press buttons on the wall. They look modern and sleek, they light up in the dark, and the various buttons control various lighting 'scenes', meaning that they can control numerous lights at the same time. We have buttons that turn off all the lights in the house (by the front door and in the master bedroom), or buttons that give us just the right lighting when we want to 'dine', 'cook', or watch a 'movie'. The system is very customizable. It's amazing. I really could not be happier with our Smart home, and now that I've experienced digitally interacting with various aspects of the house via Control4, I don't think I could 'live' any other way.

We had just purchased and gutted a house in Toronto. Our builder recommended contacting Premier Smart Homes to assist us with the home automation. The relationship was a perfect fit right from the start. With their expert technical knowledge, they were able to walk us through the possible designs that would meet our desired functionality and budget. From wiring to final component installation, their work was very professional and always completed on schedule. They worked very well with all the other trades on site. The completed system has met all of our expectations. They continue to provide excellent service for the minor issues and enhancements that arise. I highly recommend Premier Smart Homes.

Matt Gleeson and Joel were outstanding in personality and professional approach They REALLY KNOW THERE STUFF regarding programming that goes beyond the basic setup and made everyone mesh smoothly. This included inside and outside cameras, new speakees and main controller, New.programming for specific needs, several switches and relays, New.non C4 amp and TV plus some others. More so they worked out any and all glitches that occurred with existing C4 and made it all neat and tidy at the end which included a data sheet for passwords and minor common fixes I may do myself as they arise. The icing was and is ongoing approachable help to make sure all remains in order and occasionally remote checking to system as tech changes . You won't find better ..... PERIOD! !!!!

Bill and his crew were very professional, courteous and knowledgable. They had an organized and thorough approach from the planning stages all the way to installation and programming. His team went out of their way to ensure the setup was exactly to our liking and he is still readily available for continued tech support. I highly recommend Bill, Matt and the rest of his crew for your next smart home/automation project.

Since we began planning our system in 2011, Ryan and the guys at Premier Smart Homes have gone over and above my expectations after installing exactly what I envisioned a smart home to be. I have music and TV in all rooms, a home theatre, and I am able to control everything effortlessly with Control4. I even have music programmed into my light switches in rooms where I want music to play automatically when I enter it. I can view the front-door camera from any television when someone rings the doorbell, which automatically pauses whatever I am watching. I love my Control4 system, and I continue to rely on the guys at PSH for their consistency, reliability and great customer service.
