Really, really unprofessional. Total -
Rip off and when I was told about HomeStars and looked up reviews the stories are all the same -
Do not use this company for anything.

I had these guys come out and repair my dishwasher. I was hesitant to get the repairs since they came to about $600 but they had already charged me $150 for the diagnosis and trying to fix without replacing parts. It's a Kitchenaid dishwasher about 7 years old so I was hoping I would get a few more years out of it. Well it broke down about a month later, so I called QuickFix again. They told me that if it's a problem with the part they replaced then they will fix for free otherwise they will charge me $80 for looking at it even though the repair they made is under warranty. I told them that I don't know if it's the same issue since it's behaving different this time, however I would really appreciate it if they would come have a look and help me out as a return customer who just spent $600 with them a month ago. I just wanted to know what the problem was and if it was under warranty or a small amount then I would get it fixed. If however it turns out to be another expensive issue then I will probably just cut my losses and buy a new dishwasher. They showed no compassion or customer servi ce and rudely told me that they don't do business that way...and that they don't give any courtesy to there existing customers. So I told them to have a nice day and that's not the way to run a service based business in today's world. I'm sure that concept is way above their heads. They don't get the fact that anyone can repair an appliance, but it's the customer service skills that will set them apart..

My washer was giving us trouble and wouldn't complete the cycle for reasons unknown to us. We had found QuickFix online and decided to give them a try and were glad we did!

Booking an appointment was quick and easy. The technician came right on time which was a relief because with our experience with technicians, they show up very late and take their time causing us to wait around. He was quick and had fixed the issue while explaining the problem and giving us some information about it. Polite, professional and quick. Will definitely recommend to all of my friends and family!

This was my first experience with QuickFix and it couldn't have been better. My fridge stopped working over night and I was so worried that I would not be able to get a technician over at my home the very next morning but I did. When I called QuickFix and explained the situation, they were very understanding and accommodated their schedules to send over a technician in a very short period of time. He was very professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend this company to everyone I know!

I had called Quick Fix Appliances because a relative had mentioned their service in the past. I put the dishwasher to work for the night and the next morning, I noticed that it wasn't working at all. I was able to get an appointment scheduled right when I called and the technician was at my home within a very reasonable time. The issue was fixed quickly and he was friendly, polite and professional. I will definitely be calling back if any other issues ever come up!

When my dishwasher had standing water, it was easy to book an appointment with Quick Fix. They really do stand by their company's name. I had called and the gentleman was at my home within a very reasonable time. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. After fixing the issue, he was kind enough to provide me with further information about how dishwashers work in case this ever happens again. I am definitely recommending Quick Fix Appliance Repair to everyone I know!!

I booked an appointment 1 day in advance for a service call on my fridge between 9 & 11:00 a.m for the following day.. I called them at 10 a.m. the next day to reconfirm my appointment and see what time the service tech would arrive. They said he would be there by 11:30 a.m. He finally showed up at 1 p.m. The tech first said my fridge freezer was working normal. I told him the freezer temp was only -8 celcius, then he made a phone call and told me I needed a new compressor for $550. I said I didn't want to pay that for an 9 yr old fridge. Then his boss got me on the phone and wanted to do a cleaning of the fridge system ( a flush and replace the freon) for $300. Since the tech arrived he still had not removed the cover on the back of my fridge to check for dust in the cooling fins or if the fan was running.
At the end of the service call he had to call his office to see how to make out a bill. By this time I realized I had made a big mistake in selection a service company.
I have since called another authorized GE service company and I will get a new compressor under the GE warranty with only $250 labour to install.
I would never call quick fix again

QuickFix said they were authorized to fix a Miele dishwasher. The repairman cleaned the dishwasher - when that didn't work he said the circulation pump needed to be replaced at a $700 cost. A called Miele and a repairman came with a connector between the dishwasher and a computer which the QuickFix repairman didn't have. The Miele repairman charged the $140 service charge plus $100 to replace the part identified by his computer connection.

Lesson learned - when a repair company claims they can repair Miele don't believe them.

The technician replaced a part and was here less than twenty minutes. He charged me $299.00. I asked him how much of that was the part and he said he didn't know. When he left I checked prices for the part and they ranged from 40 to 55 dollars. I can't see any math that would indicate this was a fair price. I was overcharged and I wouldn't recommend this place.

I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY FRIDGE. THEY CAME OVER TO FIX IT TECHNICIAN SAID IT WOULD TAKE 2 HOURS OF LABOUR PLUS CHANGE A FAN MOTOR COST $350.00. OK I WENT AHEAD WITH THE JOB. THE TECH WAS ONLY 20 MIN. FRIDGE STARTED WORKING FOR ONLY 3 MONTHS HAD ANOTHER TECH COME OVER FROM ANOTHER CO. AND WAS TOLD THAT NO PART WAS EVER CHANGED. ALL THEY DID WAS UNCLOG A TUBE. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS CO. NOT A VERY TRUSTWORTHY CO. DO NOT STAND BY THERE WORK.
