I had all my single pane windows replaced by Retro teck and referred them to numerous family, friends and acquaintances. The owner, Wilfred was just starting out his business at the time and he personally came out and measured all 22 windows. When my wife and I went to the showroom at their original office off the #1 highway we got a personal tour of the facility. The installation crew was awesome, and Wilfred put his own special customer satisfaction ideals to the test and made it his ultimate priority. Now, several years have passed and our sliding bay window mechanisms keep breaking the strings almost always during the summer months. Retro teck is now much bigger and Phil, the sales/manager definitely doesn't have the same customer service skills Wilfred had. I was spoken to quite rudely on the phone and I'm still waiting for a return call to deal with my issue. Wilfred said that he stands by his product and if I ever had a issue, he would deal with it personally. Well, that day has come and unfortunately a person who clearly doesn't understand what it takes to develop and grow a business is now dealing with customers new and old. Hopefully this get resolved soon and Wilfred hires a more respectful and understanding person to represent his company on the front lines.
