Good initial experience with this company in 2009/2010. They got the measurements for 22 windows & sliding patio door very accurate.
Crew of 8 guys showed up & cut the old aluminum windows out: and this is where the problems started with fit & sound. There isn't a lot holding the windows in firmly - For the past 6 years its been incredibly noisy with vibrating windows at outside noises. This is a relatively quiet residential area in Newton. Air traffic & cars easily rock the windows. In the last 3 years the planes have
started flying directly over us in Newton & it shakes the windows. My neighbours run a noisy party house behind mine - the front picture window vibrates to the ongoing beat of the music as does every other window in the house. Its brutal noise & I am forced to put a headset on to sleep. I visited neighbours living on either side of my house to check on noise levels & sadly there was no noise or very little compared to my window issues. As a result I recently consulted with a couple of window installers about why such nice quality windows were making so much noise - the consensus was that because
the old windows were cut out of the house & not
carefully removed (22windows removed & replaced in 7.5 hrs by 8 men), & the new windows were most likely not well secured in place upon install hence the vibration with loud noise. Vibration. is caused by poorly secured windows.
I am beyond any warranty period I see but would gladly pay an nominal amount to have the windows properly seated & to have quiet restored.
There were other issues caused by the speedy install including the patio door not being square set and faulty springs in to vertical slider bedroom windows - can't get them to open more than an inch. Beautiful product but perhaps too quickly installed & now I'm told they no longer cut the old old windows out when installing replacements.

We used Stan, and Retrotek replacement windows. We are so happy with the quality of the windows. Many thanks to the install team. Eugene and Chris and Conrad were amazing, excellent craftsmanship. They really take pride in their work. they are very professional and clean.

We had new windows installed by RetroTeck in April 2017. The windows look great. The salesman was courteous and gave us a very reasonable quote. The installers were very efficient and they did an excellent job. We highly recommend RetroTeck!

We own our home in Aldergrove which is about 25 years old and is our main investment and is our first stage in downsizing. Being retired and budget conscious we still looked for a supplier that was able to be competitive and locally-based. Our rep had actualy trade experience which was positive to us and when we learned the windows were assembled in Canada this was also a big plus. Then, the fact that the installers came with a craft and traditional training we were convinced. The final confirmation came when we spoke to other clients and they verified what positive experiences they had in using this company. We recommend Retro Teck for your window replacement.

Needed to replace windows so called Retroteck. Stan the salesman gave me a quote took the measurements and said they would be ready for install in two weeks. two weeks later they were installed even though it was minus 7 the installers did a great job, put drop sheets everywhere and cleaned up the site. It was a very pleasurable experience and i would recommend them to any one looking for windows. Also i was pleasantly surprised at the cost and don't quite understand why previous owners did not do them.

Stan the salesman, was prompt & courteous. The quote was accurate & reasonable. The installation crew were great, clean, neat and friendly. Our son will be using them for his replacement windows.
