Troy Transportation Moving And Storage

My boyfriend and I moved on March 2,2012 and as you know Moving can be stressful and expensive especially for a student. I did my research and came across TTM&S and was more than impressed with the reviews. After receiving my quote via email from Sofia with Troy which was to be around$ 1150.00 for my apartment... at the end of it all it was just what I expected. No hidden fees no surprises when I had to pay my bill. The two gentleman who had moved my belongings into my new home were not only on time but also fast, friendly and they also took there shoes off. I cannot say the same for the company who did my prior move to Kelowna, BC. I suggest only dealing with Sofia as she is quick to get back to your questions and concerns through email which I had plenty (poor girl) lol... I can honestly say that this company is true to there word not as exspensive as the big name moving companies and at the end of it all I was a very satisfied customer and will be returning to them for my next move. Thank you Sofia for all your hard work and making sure my long distance move went smooth and stress free. Best wishes to your great company. I moved with Troy this past fall from Calgary to London and then again in the winter from London to Toronto, both moves were great!
About a month ago my aunt used Troy to move from Toronto to Vancouver, and because she told them that I referred her they sent me a gift certificate as a thank you.
Granted I had a few dishes that were broken during the move, they were just cheap ones from Canadian Tire, I only mentioned it to Troy so they were aware, Sofia (the lady in charge) asked me to send the receipts for my new dishes and then she sent me a cheque to help out with the cost………I didn’t even ask for the money, as I just bought another cheap set. Superior customer service, which is very rare these days.
Even though my review is late, they keep impressing me with their service, even months after my move, I thought the least I could do was write something for them, to share my good experience with the public.
They really are a family run business, and they treat you like family as well

We had a great move with TroyMoving. They had to pick up two 1-bedroom condos in Toronto at different locations and after drop it off at our house in Oakville. They have been on time for the pick up, have been very efficient, professional and friendly! They took extra care of all our stuff, no item was damaged nor lost cause they have been well organized and knew how to load a truck properly. They even arrived in Oakville before we got there. I think moving can be stress and trouble-free and that's what TroyMoving provided us. Great job guys, anytime again!

I wrote a recent negative review of this company that I must rescind; due to some communcation challenges, Sofia did not get my messages. In any event, Sofia and Troy did a fabulous job in locating the missing articles and are in the process of delivering them to my daughter's new residence.

Sofia was most apologetic about the mishap and appears to care very much about the service levels provided by Troy. I would recommend this company for a long distance move!

I am somewhat ambivalent about this company hence the lukewarm rating. They moved my mother from Burlington to Vancouver with mixed results.

On the plus side, they are very nice to deal with, very polite and pleasant. On the downside, they were poor at getting back to us and lost one piece of furniture.

They did give us decent compensation for it but we would have preferred finding the piece because it had emotional significance. Overall, I can't strongly recommend them but I can't advise against them either.

Troy Moving just helped me move my stuff to my parents home in Ajax, they picked up my stuff Edmonton on March 11 and delivered it on April 2. The dates were promised and kept, which was great as I only had a small window of time for the pickup and the delivery dates due to work.
Everyone at the office was great and the movers were very friendly. When I move again I will only call Troy!
