First Call Heating And Air Conditioning

Richard and Ryan were personable, knowledgeable and incredibly hard working when they put in all three products in my 1950's bungalow. They had to trouble shoot with an old house and they did an exceptional job. Thanks to both of them!
Have used First Call in another home and would use them again! Incredibly well run company.

On Sunday afternoon, I discovered that there was no hot water, upon checking the hot water tank the pilot light had gone out. After unsuccessfully trying to relight the pilot light I decided that I needed to call First Call Heating.
On Monday, morning I called First Call Heating office, the receptionist was polite and very helpful in scheduling a technician to come to out.
Emailing me back a response that a technician will be coming out between 10:00 and 12:00 a.m.
Elliott, the technician emailing me that he was on his way. Elliott explained everything that I need to be aware of with an older hot water tank. Elliott, was very friendly and treated our home with much respect, taking of his shoes when I suggest he could leave them on. He replaced the thermo couple and relight the pilot light.
Elliott was still in the driveway and I decided to check the pilot light again and it went out. I went out to talk to Elliott, it was decided that the hot water tank need to be replaced.No one was available to do it that afternoon, however a new tank was arranged to be installed Tuesday morning which we were okay with us. Elliott took the time out to contact the office and arrange for a new tank be put in.
Elliott emailed me on Tuesday morning that he was on his way. His helper arrived shortly after Elliott. The work was under way.

Elliott and his helper did a great job in the replacement of the hot water tank that was being done. Great care was given to our home and the cleanup was great.
First Call Heating should be very proud of their office staff and technicians, as they very kind and helpful in looking after their clients.
First Call Heating installed our air conditioner and our heater in our garage. We are very please with the service they all have given us.

We had a furnace and hot water heater replacement and AC install by First Call.
The price was very good and service top notch. The fellas were prompt, professional and very informative with any questions I had. They worked until after supper to get the job done even though i told them finishing the next day would not be an issue. They laid out the drop cloths to move in the new bits and at the end of the day everything was clean and tidy.
On the appraisal Heath noticed the return air in the basement was not piped properly. The fellas installed a new return duct at floor level like it should have been done in the first place as part of the job. The basement is now much warmer. I would definitely recommend this company.

I have never had such a poor experience with a furnace company. Avoid this one at all costs. Literally any other one is better. We hired these guys to clean our furnace and ended up with a crack in our ceiling at one of the heating vents they cleaned. The ceiling was professionally finished 4 years ago and we have had no issues with previous furnace cleanings and no cracks anywhere else. Minutes before they arrived I checked the vents and there were no cracks. While they were cleaning I went down and looked and immediately saw the crack. It starts right at the register that they were working on. They denied it was them and it got passed up to one of their owners named Dave. Apple does not fall far from tree as he denied it as well and we are stuck with a repair bill from their damage. His exact words were I have never cracked a ceiling in 10 years of doing this so it would not have been from us. All Dave wanted was pictures of the damage and did not offer to come out and look at it in person. I spoke to a drywaller who has been doign this for 25 years and we were told it absolutely could be from them accessing the vents by pulling or pushing on them too hard. They do not stand behind their work. Very sloppy and messy and glad we purchased a new furnace elsewhere as their service is horrible. Go elsewhere you will regret using them. This could have all been made right but they refused to send anyone out and just denied it was them. Only after this review was posted did they offer to send out a "professional" to have a look. We have already hired someone to repair it after they made their decision that they would not be responsible based on the picture. In the end instead of being out a few hundred dollars for repairing their work I now hope others read this and take their business elsewhere.

I was overall very satisfied with First Call. They seemed honest to me and provided a clean, efficient, courteous and professional service.
Very happy with the removal of the old, and installation of the new.
