My gas fireplace was not working after the ice store. I was quoted a price of $2500 and told I had to replace the whole thing. Imran came and fixed it with a smile on his face and saved me $2000!!!!! He's the BEST!!!!

On a cold Saturday in February our gas fireplace, the only heat source in the basement family room, conked out. The switch no longer worked and the pilot wouldn't light. I called Imran on Sunday afternoon and he came over the next day, a holiday Monday, to have a look. He replaced the switch, fixed the pilot, cleaned and checked everything and greatly improved the flame quality and overall appearance of our fireplace. Plus he was polite, with a sense of humour and was very knowledgeable about gas fireplaces. We are very pleased and highly recommend Gas Fireplace Services and Repairs.

For several years now I've had the pilot light off on one of my gas fireplaces. During the ice storm this year I tried to turn the fireplace on but the igniter wouldn't work. I thus decided that I'd better get the fireplace fixed. I checked Homestars, found Imran and liked the reviews that others had written. Imran came and fixed the problem and serviced my old fireplace. It is now working perfectly and looks brand new even though it is over 20 years old. He also told me that he could change the sensor but there is no point in incurring the extra cost at this point. Imran is honest, does the work well and cleanly, and his prices are reasonable. I will be using his services again as I have another fireplace that needs to be serviced (he couldn't to it today as it was on) and will also use him for yearly maintenance.

After reading the positive reviews on Homestars, I called Imran to have him look at my 2 yr old fireplace that wouldn't start consistently . It had just been serviced in the past two months by the company from whom I bought and had it installed but they clearly didn't fix the issue (they probably caused it). Imran was busy when I called but returned my call later. He ended up coming to my house on the Sunday following my call. He took apart the remote starter and tried a new one - wasn't the problem so put back my old (fairly new one) and tightened up the wires. Now my fireplace starts every time. He even rearranged the logs and added that stuff that looks like embers when burning to make it look nicer. I'll never call anyone else to service my fireplace - certainly not the company who installed it.

I had been without one of my fireplaces for 3 months! I am so grateful that I found Imran and his company. He came within 24 hours and got the fireplace to fire up again! Both of my fireplaces look better than ever and I recommend Imran to anyone in need of professional and meticulous workmanship. I will most certainly rely on Imran to do my annual maintenance for my gas fireplaces.

I was referred to Imram because my annual contract service provider
put a red tag and shut off the gas to my fireplace. The reason given was that a new gas valve was required and the part was no longer available as manufacturer was out of business. They indicated the only solution was a new fireplace and when they estimated the cost would be 3 to 5 thousand dollars I decided another opinion was necessary. Imram quickly determined their was no problem and the fireplace was cleaned up and has never looked better. He filled in the red tag info for me to send to the gas company and we are up and running again. He is both an expert and a gentleman and I recommend him highly

Call Imran first !
He saved me a ton of money by determining a previously diagnosed problem was bunk. Rather than having to replace the fireplace insert at a minimum cost of $2,500, Imran just gave the fireplace a thorough cleaning and made some minor adjustments. He was prompt, tidy and has a good sense of humour.

After calling my usual repair service to fix my fireplace which they were unable to do I decided to research fireplace repair in Toronto and found Imran. He came in on a Saturday and within 2 hours he fixed my fireplace and it looks better than it ever did. He was couteous, friendly and most importantly knowledeable. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in need of gas fireplace repair or maintenance.
