After reading the positive reviews on Homestars, I called Imran to have him look at my 2 yr old fireplace that wouldn't start consistently . It had just been serviced in the past two months by the company from whom I bought and had it installed but they clearly didn't fix the issue (they probably caused it). Imran was busy when I called but returned my call later. He ended up coming to my house on the Sunday following my call. He took apart the remote starter and tried a new one - wasn't the problem so put back my old (fairly new one) and tightened up the wires. Now my fireplace starts every time. He even rearranged the logs and added that stuff that looks like embers when burning to make it look nicer. I'll never call anyone else to service my fireplace - certainly not the company who installed it.

We were about to start a major renovation to our house and needed to find movers for two moves: one move into an apartment and the other move for the remaining house contents into storage. We have a 3 storey house with a finished basement so it was a lot of work. I found Arby Cartage through Homestars. Their rate seemed reasonable and I liked how honest and forthcoming Arby was. Anil (Arby's son) and two of his movers moved us into the apartment on one day and he came back another day with four other helpers to move our stuff into storage on another day. Anil is friendly and has a super positive attitude which helped us stay calm during this hectic move and gave us confidence. I will call them again when our renovation is all done.

I had several area rugs that needed to be picked up and cleaned after we moved out to renovate. I used Homestars to find a carpet cleaner and decided to try 416-So-Clean. Adel from So Clean was very accommodating, friendly and polite. He even delivered the clean carpets to two locations for me. Great service. I will definitely call him again.
