This is the second time I have used Imran to look at my fireplace and the second time he did not disappoint! I am a customer for life :)
He diagnosed, repaired off site and had my fireplace back in action - looking even better than before - within a few days. This is with him checking in and following up with me every step of the way. After 10+ years of having an unused gas fireplace in the basement, we were selling the property and needed to get it going again. After hours of fiddling with the pilot and ignition, there was nothing more I could do to get it lit. This is where the professional and courteous services of Imran Emamdee and his company, "GAS FIREPLACE SERVICES AND REPAIRS" saved the day. Based on these very same HomeStars reviews I arranged for a service call. Mr. Emamdee showed up on time and immediately got to work. He meticulously disassembled the fireplace and then carefully investigated the cause. While warning me that having not been fired up in 10+ years, there could be many causes for not igniting, he would see what he could do to accomplish the repair at minimal cost to me. 2 hours later he had removed accumulated dust, debris, spider webs and corrosion. Joints and couplings had been cleaned and refitted. Piece by piece the fireplace was reassembled and for the first time in over a decade a beautiful fire danced before me.

I can't recommend Mr. Emamdee highly enough, what a great and knowledgeable guy. Our house had an old gas fireplace when we moved in, but the previous owners hadn't been able to get it to work (we could either). Mr. Emamdee was able to quickly identify the problem, repair it and even give it a thorough cleaning that same day. Imran is the ultimate professional - knowledgeable, pleasant and explains everything completely. Imram is indeed a miracle worker as another reviewer has stated. We had a fireplace that anothe company had tried to fix three times, without success and thought that we'd have to spend $4,000 to $5,000 (or more) on a new fireplace. The othe company had also left my fireplace in pieces and Imram had to re-assemble it. I'm writing this while enjoying my repaired fireplace and am very happy that I called Imram. I will also be cancelling my fireplace plan with my current provider and only
calling Imram in the future. My advice to others looking for
fireplace repairs or maintenance is to call Imram.

IMRAN IS A MIRACLE WORKER! I found Imran through Homestars and asked him to come and look at two 20-year old gas fireplaces in our home that weren't working. (We had been told by Enbridge that both were unfixable and needed to be replaced.) Imran was able to diagnose and repair both fireplaces in one session and both are now working better than they did when we first built our home! He made sure that the units were safe to operate and he also cleaned the glass so that the outward appearance is also much more attractive. You can tell that Imran is an honourable man who believes in doing good work and in not taking advantage of his customers. He could easily have charged us the service call fee and told us to go ahead and purchase new units. However, he persevered and was able to return our fireplaces to perfect working order. I highly recommend Imran to everyone who wants prompt, safe, reliable work done in their home! We will definitely call upon him for any maintenance issues that should arise.

I had originally arranged for this work earlier in the year; but family commitments necessitated a delay until this week. Imran was punctual; respectful; knowledgeable and very thorough in completing the work. Our fireplace is very old and the company has been out of business for many years. Nonetheless he was able to replace the fan motor and conducted a thorough cleaning and servicing of the unit resulting in a functioning fireplace that now looks like new.
