Gas Fireplace Services & Repairs

I found Imran on HomeStars and chose him for his rating. He not only met but exceeded my expectations. His attention to detail, detailed explanations, technical knowledge, courteous behaviour all led to a superb job replacing corroded sensors, with a full cleaning and detailed rebuilding of the fireplace so it appears very realistic. In addition he found wires that had melted and where electrical wire was exposed (could have ignited the gas if there ever was a leak). This was fixed as well (and covered under the fix bid price even though he didn't realize the extent of the job at its start). I fully recommend his professional services.

Our gas fireplace had not been serviced in many years. Imran took the time to ensure that the malfunctioning remote could not be salvaged before he recommended its replacement. He then serviced the fireplace, taking special care to place the logs, "embers" and ashes to create a beautiful impression. He clearly takes pride in his work. I am so glad to have found Imran on Homestars. Our gas fireplace suddenly stopped working, and at first I thought I would try to take it apart myself but then quickly realized I just didn't feel comfortable fiddling around with a gas appliance myself! I called Imran and he was able to come to our house a few days later. He immediately set to work, taking the fireplace completely apart and showing me exactly what he was doing. He was quickly able to identify and fix the problem in the receiver unit. He also thoroughly cleaned every piece of the structure, repositioned the logs and adjusted the oxygen intake so the flame now looks so much more realistic than before (it used to be overly blue and fake-looking, I always thought). I can honestly say the fireplace looks better now than it ever has since it was installed three years ago. Imran really takes pride in his work and it shows in the end product. We tried to give him a tip but he wouldn't accept it. I will definitely be calling him to service the fireplace again in future, and I will be recommending him to my friends and family. This review should have been written two years ago, sorry Imran. I cannot say enough great things about Imran. He came to our house to look at our gas fireplace and let us know it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. He quoted us an incredible price to rebuild the existing fireplace instead of purchasing a new one but because we were getting our windows replaced we could not afford it. One year later, we contacted Imran who was incredibly kind and remembered us. He stood by his original price even though it was over a year later and rebuilt our existing fireplace for the fraction of the cost instead of purchasing a brand new one. It has been running great for the last two years.

If there were more service people like Imram ( I hope that's spelled correctly) There would be no need for a site such as this.... He was excellent. He took great pride in his work and in charging a fair price for what was done. We contacted him to see whether or not he could correct a poorly installed gas fire place which was too far back in the cabinet and not anchored. He came told us that we likely didn't need to extend the chimney vent as we had thought, moved the unit forward, levelled it, anchored it and charged us nothing on top of the assessment service call to which we had agreed. He then noted that it had to be cleaned ( we were unaware that had to be done at all, let alone yearly by code). Despite all the dirt and dust from a unit that had sat for quite a while, he cleaned it and, except for a shiny new looking fireplace, you would never have known he had been there. When he left, everything was immaculate. He was polite, respectful and cheerful. As I said More service people like him and there would be no need for a site like this.

After hiring other companies that could not fix my gas fireplace, I called this company. Imran (the owner), was very punctual, he knew exactly what to look for, and was able to quickly complete the repair...my fireplace works better than ever! He was friendly, professional, and his rate was very reasonable. If you need your gas fireplace worked on, etc., don't hire anyone else. Call Imran.

I called Imran, earlier in the fall, based on his reviews. He was booked for a week, but came on the day he promised. He meticulously repaired and cleaned our two fireplaces so that they looked like new! He treated our home as if it was his own. Will definitely call on him again. Thanks, Imran!

My fireplace had not worked in a couple of years. I called Imran based on the ratings on HomeStars but he was completely booked. He said he would call and try to fit me in before the holidays. He called but I couldn't make it the first time so he called back again a couple of weeks later. Not only did he fix the fireplace he cleaned it so well that it looked new by the time he was finished. He was very professional and courteous and I would definitely recommend him.

Imran couldn't fit us into his week, so, amazingly, came on a Sunday. He made no mess, cleaned and rebuilt an older gas fireplace, and left it with a much better look than it had had even when first installed.

Our fireplace had not worked in years and when we finally decided to get it working we called Imran based on all the positive reviews. He found out that we had a gas leak, the unit was corroded, the main chute up the chimney had holes in it and the chimney clay top was cracked. He immediately started to work - removing the old unit and fixing the clay top. He provided options based on our needs and indicated he would be back in a few days.

Imran takes great pride in his work and is a man of integrity and honesty. He treats your home as if it is his and is very careful laying down cloths etc. and tidying up afterwards. He is efficient, prompt, genuine, pays great attention to detail and takes pride in his workmanship.

Imran is very friendly, professional, and did an excellent and efficient job on our fireplace. Taking meticulous care in laying down the rocks and logs etc. to get that perfect natural look. As you can see by the before and after pics… we are totally in love with our new fireplace and he wanted to make sure it would be done in time for Christmas.

I can assure you that you will not regret contracting Imran for any fireplace related work. It was a pleasure to deal with him.
