Our gas fireplace hadn't been serviced in years and started to emit a burning smell. We call Imran based on his Homestars rating and were not disappointed - quick, efficient service with genuine attention to detail and careful workmanship. He dismantled, thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt the unit, explained the issue, re-mixed the gas flow and added mineral wool for a better ambience and effect (at no cost). Hardly any mess and he cleaned up thoroughly. Will definitely be calling him for a service every year from now on. Highly recommended.

My fireplace dates back to 1993 and has not worked in years. Based on the positive reviews I read, I had Imran have a look at it. He confirmed that it needed a major re-build. Upon giving him the go-ahead, he proceeded to work on it immediately. The gas valve, sensors, thermocouple all had to be replaced. What impressed me greatly about Imran is that once the required work was done to get the unit working again, he went above and beyond the agreed upon work. He took everything apart & vacuumed, polished and spray painted the entire unit black. It looks brand new. He takes tremendous pride in his work and is a man of integrity and honesty. I can assure you that you will not regret contracting Imran for any fireplace related work. It was a pleasure to deal with him.

Another company made three service calls to address an issue with ignition and a gas smell. The gas smell persisted and we did not feel safe. Gas Fireplace Services and Repairs was contacted and Imran immediately identified the problem. The fireplace was completely disassembled cleaned and repaired. Imran is a professional that takes great pride in his work.

I had another company come & check out our non-functioning fireplace & although it was working when they left, it didn't last longer than a few minutes. A return visit yielded similar results, so I called Imran. He came the next day & basically stripped down the entire fireplace & rebuilt it. It works & looks better than ever now! So, now we'll have our fireplace working for Christmas. Thanks Imran, you saved our Christmas!

My husband found Imran on HomeStar website! We have been using the gas fireplace for years. We noticed this season that the fan made a louder noise! We called Imran he came two days later! He was prompt and tidy. He showed me all the things that were wrong with my fireplace. He cleaned everything, plus spray painted the inside of the fireplace black, added more embers so the fire looks more real! He cleaned the inside of the glass! Wow what a differents? Had my gas turned off for other reasons and when they guy turned it back on he told me I needed my gas fireplaces serviced - I had no idea. Called Imran who cleaned things up perfectly and both fireplaces work better than ever - look brand new! Easy to deal with and great service. Highly recommend.
