Imran is such a wonderful, patient and knowledgeable technician. This is the second time I had him over. I trust him immensely and once again he did not disappoint us. My gas fireplace was not turning on. We called him at the busiest time of the year! Patiently they called us with possible dates and times that they could " squeeze" us in. And that is exactly what they did, after a very long workday! When Imran arrived it took him seconds to detect the issue. It was silly, and probably as a result of one of my kids fiddling with the buttons. But the reason I am writing this is to confirm his absolute honesty. He could have been dishonest but that is not who he is . He is exactly the type of person you can welcome into your home.- both capable and honest! Thank you for standing out in the market!

Fireplace flames were low so called the Fireplace Doctor who charged a lot of money only to tell me that there was a venting problem which he couldn't fix (after he left, the fireplace wouldn't even stay lit.), so he referred me to another company which again charged a bunch of money to tell me that it couldn't be fixed and that he could get me a good price on a new one. I found Imran on Homestars. What a great guy!!! He cleaned up the mess made by the other two, and fixed it, charging me less than either of the other two.

Imran was a pleasure to work with. I called on a snowy Sunday night and the phone was answered immediately. After describing my situation, Imran was able to reassure me that the job could wait overnight and indeed, he followed up on his word to call the next day with a time. He came the following morning at the time he said. He was able to accurately diagnose the problem and went above and beyond in his repair. The fireplace now works perfectly and not only that, he modernized an old fireplace so it looks contemporary and brand new. It was clear he took great pride in his work and especially in satisfying his customer. He followed up at the end of the day to make sure I was happy with his work. Today was the third time we have used Gas Firplace services to repair one of our fireplaces and each time we have been impressed with Imran's knowledge and craftsmanship. His work is excellent. He has always helped us as quickly as he can and we are always pleased with the results. We recommend him highly.

Our gas fireplace was not functioning properly. Imran assessed the situation and was able to provide a clear explanation of what needed to be done. He proceeded to painstakingly take the components apart, replace the ones that were worn and performed an immaculate cleaning. It now functions like new and looks amazing. Imran is just amazing! Over the last year, I have called several other fireplace repair services to try to fix my fireplace. Collectively these other contractors have charged me almost $1,000 in total for parts and labour but they still couldn't fix my fireplace properly. The last contractor/shark even suggested I buy a costly new fireplace. Imran repaired and had my fireplace working like new in about an hour. I can't give Imran a higher recommendation: very tidy, friendly, honest, extremely competent and customer-service focussed. Six stars!

He got to work immediately servicing/cleaning the fireplace. He fixed the valve for me, which he wasn't required to do. He encouraged me to watch him work so that he could explain each step to me and how the fireplace operates. I was grateful this.

Imran is a true professional who appears to love his job. Most important to him it seems, is ensuring that his customers are happy with his service. Imran's service is second to none. He is very thorough in the work that he undertakes and ensures that full explanations are provided when repairs are either imminent or necessary. In addition to being prompt and courteous, Imran is always pleasant no matter how hectic his schedule. Imran has been providing service to my gas fireplace for several years (most recently yesterday!) and has kept it in perfect operating order.

Imran repaired two fireplaces in our home that had not been serviced for many years. It is readily apparent that Imran takes great pride in his work - something that seems less common these days. The fireplaces look amazing. We were considering replacing them both, but after Imran was finished, we realized they just needed a bit of "love." Not only did he service and thoroughly clean them, he modernized them both (glass rocks in one and spray painted the inside of the other) and we are so happy with the results.
