I was able to book an appointment the same day with Linda, and Steve was actually able to come earlier then scheduled so they called to see if that was okay with me. Steve was right on time, got right to work, and diagnosed the problem quite quickly. He was able to go and get the needed part and returned shortly afterward and my dishwasher was fully functional after Steve cleaned up, gave me some great advice, even about my other appliances and tested my dishwasher a few different ways to make sure there was no more water leaking. He was very polite personal and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Cascade Appliance Service to anyone in the Oakville area!

Great service! Steve arrived early and found the problems right away. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. My dishwasher hasn't worked properly for months and other repair people could not find the problem. I would highly recommend this company.

It's just my luck that I had my dryer start squeaking after I sold my condo. The original company I booked to fix the dryer never showed up, so I called Cascade Appliances needing someone in a hurry as the house closes shortly. The lady who answered the phone was wonderful, explained Steve could come after hours and fix it no problem. We booked Steve and confirmed the time. On the day of repair, Steve and I both hit the same traffic and we called to notify each other were were running 10 minutes late. I loved that! The previous company I hired never called me to tell me they wouldn't be showing up, I had to chase them down... and here Cascade was calling me - informing me about 10 little minutes. Steve was excellent, told me how long the repair would take and quoted me before he even started. I was surprised it didn't cost more! Service like that shouldn't come so cheap! Thank you to Steve, you did a great job. I love drying my clothes without having to wear ear plugs now.

We had a problem with our washing machine that would intermittantly not go into spin cycle. Steve came and within a few minutes had diagnosed the problem with the door latch. After about 30 minutes, Steve had installed the new part, provided some pointers on the washer and even noticed that we were not using the correct soap for our washer.
Overall great service and very professional. We will definitely use Cascade again in the future for any appliance repair needs.

My refrigerator stopped working and I called Cascade at 8:00 a.m. Steve came at 10:00 a.m.! 30 min. later my fridge was working and he even quickly diagnosed a problem that I was having with my dishwasher without charging me. He took the time to explain what he was doing and how the fridge worked. He gave me tips about packing the freezer and how to position food correctly in the fridge. He also gave me tips about my dishwasher. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Steve came out to assess the problem on the same day I placed the phone call. He ordered the part and returned to fix it on the day he promised. I wouldn't hesitate to use Cascade again in the future. They were pleasant to deal with and very professional.

We have a LG dishwasher that'd been intermittently leaking water over the kitchen floor. Steve explained that LG doesn't distribute their parts outside their service network, so I should know that before I made an appointment. I was swayed be the reviews (and the cost/terrible experience I had in the past with different authorized LG repair crews) and figured I'd be able to get the part off ebay or the internet if I couldn't source it locally.
I made an appointment and Steve was terrific to work with, explaining exactly what he was doing and answering all the questions I had. He pulled apart the dishwasher and tested out some common problem areas but wasn't able to find the leak. As we were putting it back together, he found a tiny intermittent drip from the input valve. Steve looked up the part on the Sears parts website, but it wasn't listed. He then suggested a US website that'd recently started shipping to Canada and left me the exact part number I'd need to order. I ended up calling Sears parts and they carried it, even though it wasn't listed online. The part itself was $20, and I was able to install it on my own.
Steve was extremely professional and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to call again if I have a dishwasher problem.

In October, 2012 I had another company come to fix a squeaky door on my side by side fridge. The repairman came three times but the squeak kept getting worse so I asked them to send another repairman. But before that could happen, late one night the fridge door just fell off on me. It was extremely heavy with full bins on the inside and a wood panel insert on the outside but I did manage to get it leaning against the freezer side of the fridge. I immediately called that company's emergency number but they refused to come and help me. The said they would order a part but it would take 6 - 8 weeks. They would do nothing to help me put the door back on!!! So I went on line to Home Stars and found Cascade Appliance Service. I called first thing in the morning and Steve came within 2 hours. He was a godsend!! He found that the hinge had been broken off, was missing and would have to be replaced. He checked availability of the replacement hinge and determined that it would take 6 - 8 weeks. But in the meantime he created a temporary hinge out of parts in his tool box and put the door back on so I could use the fridge until the replacement hinge came in. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give Cascade a 20.
