Our 5 year old Maytag fridge stopped working a Friday morning. We called Maytag and were suggested to unplug the fridge for 4-6 hours as it is somewhat common that condensation clugs the ducts that allow cool air circulation between the freezer (still working) and the fridge (warm). When the trial did not work, we found ourselves in a bit of a hurry Monday morning to book a repairperson. We called Cascade and booked an appointment for their very first available spot, Wednesday evening. When Lynda asked us if we had alternate arrangements to keep our food and we confirmed that we did not, she called Steve to arrange a same-day late-evening home call. Steve was fully reliable, showed up on time, properly diagnosed the problem, and came back the very next day with the piece (he picked up himself from the Maytag warehouse) and fixed our fridge.
