Still can't get service

So finally got agreement from store to return incorrectly ordered item after being told the salesperson would not have ordered incorrectly we did (even thought we have pictures and email to prove otherwise). Now the returns says they are charing us half the purchase price because a box was opened by the TASCO installer (not by us) who couldn't complete the installation AND only 1 of the three boxes was opened and it was the venting not even the hood or the bower. It is not possible to get good service from this company and we now realize we are not getting our issue resolved we are going to lose our money and have to go somewhere else. Do not shop here. Really.

Product

I paid for 4 appliances on Nov 22nd in full and was told they were all in stock. Delivery was arranged for Dec 5, but the night before I was told the fridge wasn't in. The fridge finally arrived just before Christmas. I was busy and out and around Dec 30 went into the freezer and noticed everything was defrosted and both the freezer and the fridge were blowing warm air. Tasco could not arrange a service call until January 5th, and would not take the defective fridge away until a Whirlpool technician had seen it and sent paperwork to their head office. That meant I had no room for a loaner fridge, and was therefore left without a fridge until January 9th. On January 5th a technician finally came and said the fridge was damaged beyond repair, and needed a new inverter board .Since then nobody has called me. I am out Hundreds in lost food, hours in waiting for calls and have no idea when I will ever see a replacement. Customer service means you take ownership of a problem, so essentially Tasco doesn't provide any. This is the worst retail experience I have ever had. I would be mortified to work for a company that treats customers this way. This fridge has cost me a fortune so far and I still don't have it and nobody knows when I will. Customer service would have meant replacing the damaged fridge with a loaner immediately and deal with Whirlpool later. What appliance company would leave a client , who has paid in full, with no working fridge for 10 days?

Tasco Fiasco

They don't order you appliances correctly, they don't install correctly, and once your money has been received forget about getting anyone to answer your calls. Their after sales support is nonexistent. I wish I had checked homestars before going there because know I have no appliance despite paying for it and no one will help.

Tasco = Fiasco

They don't answer the phones. They don't call you back. They don't care. They do try and fix the mistakes they make eventually but the process is so painful and the lack of care they exhibit makes it the worst shopping experience you could have. Actually, the shopping is fine. The fulfillment is the disaster. Once they have your money they don't care about you at all. Epic failure. Spend your money somewhere else. Where they actually care about making you happy.

Wrong LG Dryer

Back in the summer of 2015, I approached Tasco with a budget to update all my household appliances. Zaid was my sales man and immediately put together a quote that was 30% above our original budget.

After trying to change the order to make it work, We decided to go elsewhere to purchase our oven, but still buy our fridge, washer and dryer. Having stressed our desire to purchase a gas dryer we came to a deal and we purchased all 3 appliances. On Nov 20th they were shipped to my home only to find out they shipped an Electric Dryer. After notifying them about the mistake I have been told it's been orders however it's now Dec 18 and I still have no idea when my dryer will be delivered. Christmas is coming and I'm doing laundry 20 mins away at the local laundry Mat. This is so unacceptable that a company with such a reputation would make this mistake in the first place then to have zero follow up to assure me as to when my order will be recieved. Lesson learned and I will not forget this going forward

BOSCH DISHWASHER REPAIR

We bought the extended warranty for this dishwasher. After 1.5 years there were issues with its operation. Tasco passed me on to Comerco in Quebec who then passed me to TransGlobal here in Toronto. The onus was on me to call and be put on hold. This all started on November 30th and they will not have the part until January 24th and then I am required to book an appointment. Valerie at Tasco did not care at all and even had the audacity to tell me she would call back in 15 minutes. Do NOT buy an extended warranty from Tasco.Terrible customer service !!

Unclear/Misleading Extended Warranty

I bought over $12,000 of kitchen appliances from Tasco in 2011. I also bought the extended warranty for the LG fridge which had be covered until 2016... or so I thought. Our LG fridge died in 2013 and Tasco's extended warranty program replaced it as expected with a brand new unit (same model). Now, in 2015, the unit died again with exactly the same problems. What I did not know is that the extended warranty only covers the 1 replacement, so although my coverage went until 2016, I no longer had extended coverage on the brand new fridge. This was not made clear by the salesperson who sold me the extended warranty, nor was it made clear Seta, the manager of extended warranty when we processed the exchange. She claims in her notes that she offered me the additional extended warranty, but I am certain she didn't - which is now a he said she said. While I was pleased with all my interactions with Tasco thus far, this has left a sour taste in my mouth. Buyer beware on extended warranties.

Bad service

Bought a stove. Great product. The leg snapped off. Thats ok. What is not ok is how Tasco is handing this. Repeated calls. No call back s on status. Left a message 2 weeks ago. No call back. Left a message with the Cust Service Manager this morning. Will give her 24 hours before going to the Toronto Star. I've got a really long fuse.....I'm Fed up.

Kitchen appliances

I bought my kitchen appliances, range, over the range microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher from Tasco on Dufferin Street. Upon installation of the fridge we realized the air filter was missing, there were flaws on the door and microwave door was also crooked. Have been Calling Tasco customer service since November 2, 2015 several times. First time I was promised to get the air filter in 3 days, since then no one at customer service returns my calls and no air filter. very poor servi

Faulty Fridge

8 year old Kitchen Aide fridge died on us. Tasco's initial response was merely to recommend a repair guy. Their recommended repair guy was busy for two weeks, so we called others. Long story short, he figured out which part had died (and again, an 8 year old appliance shouldn't have major parts simply die). The part is unavailable anywhere. Tasco's response was to pass the buck and basically say that they are not responsible for parts. Would not give me a contact at Kitchen Aide who could help expedite the process of finding the part. Simply put - they couldn't care less. Recommendation - buy your appliances from people who care about their customers.
