This letter is to acknowledge the excellent work you & your construction team did in the recent renovation of our kitchen, living room and family room this past spring.

From design modifications to project planning and execution, your team of professional renovators took what was our dream kitchen and great room design and sculptured it to perfection. The workmanship was executed to the specifications with constant interaction with both my wife and myself throughout the construction process. We were especially satisfied with the selection of all the cabinetry, custom granite, sink hardware and fireplace layout and construction which transpired a clustered two room layout into what we see today in our “great room” concept.

On behalf of Lorrie and myself, we extend our thanks to your team for a construction job well done given the challenges we faced along the way from structural design changes to fireplace re-construction stages. Today, we would all agree looking at the before and after pictures that a fine piece of art has now been created which we are enjoying every day.

We had the pleasure of having our new kitchen install by Rod Snow and couldn't be more thrilled. The level of professionalism, service and value was outstanding. Rod took the time to show us a number of options for our choices in granite, cabinets and tile, to ensure that we would have a beautiful end product. The quality of the work and service throughtout the whole process exceeded our expectation. We have received many compliments on our newly renovated kitchen and would highly recommend Snow Valley Kitchens to anyone looking to renovate.

Rod renovated our kitchen in early 2010. He and his staff did an amazing job. Our home is an open conecpt and we had a total gut of the kitchen so he made sure the rest of our home was protected as bet he could to prevent the dust from going all over. His crew was very professional and he did things above and beyond what he was contracted to do -- and my husband and I were very appreciatvie of this. There were never any hidden suprises -- his contract was very clear and very fair. If I had any questions about the job Rod was quick to respond and worked with us from start to finish. Late last fall I had to have my bathroom resealed (the bathroom reno was done by another company before I met Rod -- sorry I didn't use Rod as the other company was totally useless) and the kitchen granite and he did this for me at no charge! Great customer service, great quality products, great design ideas. I would be happy to speak to anyone thinking about working with Rod and send you pictures of our gorgeous kitchen -- they are also on his website.

DEALT WITH ROD IN 2008. FIRST MET HIM AT THE HOME SHOW AND HE SEEMED QUALIFIED. WE HIRED HIM TO DO A COMPLETE KITCHEN RENO. THERE WERE MANY CONFRONTATIONS WITH ROD OVER THE MESS,, UNQUALIFIED STAFF, AND QUALITY OF MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP. WHEN I ASKED WHY MY GRANITE WAS TOTALLY SCRATCHED HE SAID THAT IS THE WAY IT IS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GET IT DONE YOURSELF. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE CABINETS AND WHY THEY HAD DISCOLOURATION, AND MARKS; HIS REPLY WAS THAT THE MANUFACTURER SENT THEM THAT WAY. THE FLOOR WAS DONE BY ONE OF HIS SUPPLIERS AND THEY DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB ON THEM. THE ELECTRICAL IS STILL A NIGHTMARE TO THIS DAY. THE POTLIGHTS DON'T WORK AND SHORT OUT, THE DISHWASHR CAN'T BE TURNED ON WHEN THE POTLIGHTS ARE ON. HE HOOKED THE STOVE AND MICROWAVE TO THE SAME CIRCUIT AND IT CAUSED MAJOR PROBLEMS. I HAD TO GET AN ELECTRICIAN IN TO FIX IT. THE JOB WAS NOT COMPLETE AND HE DEMANDED THE FINAL 10%. I SIAD NO AND HE WALKED OFF THE JOB. ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER HE RETURNED AND I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY HIM TO GET THE JOB FINISHED.
IT HAS BEEN 3 1/2 YEARS (PICTURES ATTACHED) AND THE CABINETS ARE A MESS,... PEELING, FALLING APART AND THE KITCHEN ALREADY NEEDS REDONE. I DON'T SUGGEST ANYONE DEALS WITH HIM!

It was a true pleasure having our beautiful new granite countertops and backsplash done by Rod Snow, owner of Snow Valley kitchens.
The quality of the kitchen renovation was outstanding, as well as the warm, sincere and professional service by Rod.
Each detail of the process was taken care of when it said it would be, at a very fair price. Rod went out of his way to ensure we were choosing the right colours and style for our kitchen, followed up, and was part of each step of the renovation. The level of professionalism, patience and attention to detail was outstanding, as if it was his own kitchen being done.
We have had may compliments on our new kitchen. We are thrilled with the end result, as well as the service along the way.
I would highly recommend Rod to anyone getting a kitchen renovation done. This level of service is definitely hard to find!

we are 90 % complete the work and could not be more satisfied with the level of service, quality and professionalism. any issues were dealt with emmediately. When Rod said something was going to get done, it happened on time. well done.his contractors are all high of quality and honest.
If you are looking to renovate we stongly suggest that you meet with Rod, when he tells you something, he means it and it gets done on time.

This is the second kitchen I have purchased in my life and Snow Valley Kitchens was amazing. They began with consulting us then managed our expectations every step of the way. They are true craftsmen. Not only did they suggest some great ideas but they finished on time and right on budget. I would highly recommend Snow Valley. Ask for a guy named Rod.

Worthless warranty, disrespectful customer service
The five year warranty Rod signed proved useless - a cabinet door cracked shortly after we paid Rod the full amount. In addition, in several cabinets, the paint is peeling and when one door is opened, it bangs against the knob of the door next to it, causing a dent. This is due to poor design.
In September, 2010 Rod sent a representative from the kitchen manufacturer, Ted, to look at the cracked door, and Ted agreed to replace the door. Since then , Rod said the cabinet manufacturer went out of business, and therefore, Rod was not responsible to cover his warranty. To quote Rod's e-mail from February, 2011: "As you know the supplier that we used before, (company name removed) went out of business and no longer is operating. Therefore I cant get doors from them for you to replace? There warranty no longer exists because they don’t”. The 5 year warranty written in the contract is with Snow Valley Kitchens, not with anybody else, and Rod is refusing to honor his own contract.
After chasing him with numerous e-mails and phone calls to which he rarely responds, Rod agreed to check if his current supplier can get a similar door, but he never got back to us – It is February 2012 now. . He is ignoring his contractual responsibilities and treating customers with total disrespect.
Be careful of his deficiency list policy – he requires the full payment when he makes a list of the existing work still to be done, not when the your kitchen is complete to your satisfaction.
