DEALT WITH ROD IN 2008. FIRST MET HIM AT THE HOME SHOW AND HE SEEMED QUALIFIED. WE HIRED HIM TO DO A COMPLETE KITCHEN RENO. THERE WERE MANY CONFRONTATIONS WITH ROD OVER THE MESS,, UNQUALIFIED STAFF, AND QUALITY OF MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP. WHEN I ASKED WHY MY GRANITE WAS TOTALLY SCRATCHED HE SAID THAT IS THE WAY IT IS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GET IT DONE YOURSELF. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE CABINETS AND WHY THEY HAD DISCOLOURATION, AND MARKS; HIS REPLY WAS THAT THE MANUFACTURER SENT THEM THAT WAY. THE FLOOR WAS DONE BY ONE OF HIS SUPPLIERS AND THEY DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB ON THEM. THE ELECTRICAL IS STILL A NIGHTMARE TO THIS DAY. THE POTLIGHTS DON'T WORK AND SHORT OUT, THE DISHWASHR CAN'T BE TURNED ON WHEN THE POTLIGHTS ARE ON. HE HOOKED THE STOVE AND MICROWAVE TO THE SAME CIRCUIT AND IT CAUSED MAJOR PROBLEMS. I HAD TO GET AN ELECTRICIAN IN TO FIX IT. THE JOB WAS NOT COMPLETE AND HE DEMANDED THE FINAL 10%. I SIAD NO AND HE WALKED OFF THE JOB. ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER HE RETURNED AND I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY HIM TO GET THE JOB FINISHED.
IT HAS BEEN 3 1/2 YEARS (PICTURES ATTACHED) AND THE CABINETS ARE A MESS,... PEELING, FALLING APART AND THE KITCHEN ALREADY NEEDS REDONE. I DON'T SUGGEST ANYONE DEALS WITH HIM!

This is the second kitchen we had done for Sandra and her family. The first kitchen was done and is on our website. It turned out beautiful and right on budget. I recall that Sandra was very upset through out the project and very angry, even though the job went smoothly. After the job was complete, Sandra sent me an apology and a outfit for my son that was just born. she admitted that she had treated me and my staff unfairly and want to let me know she loved her kitchen.
Sandra then hired us to do her mothers kitchen with my surprise. She then proceeded to act the same way as the last renovation? So im not sure what her issue is at this time to voice her opinion 4 years later?In response to her accusations, we always have licensed electricians,plumbers,etc to do all work in a clients home. In the past 3-4 years i have yet to hear from her in regards to any warranty issues in regards to her renovation?
