Lawn Care

Wanted to try Dr. Green for a year to see if it would eliminate weads. Did not make much of a difference. Then they would keep coming back without me asking them to and harrassing on the phone to pay for services I dont't want. Dr. Green is more of a call centre to collect money than a Lawn Care Service.

Lawn Care

Dr. Green has been a night mare from the first treatment. They did a poor job on the first application. When I asked for a respray, they came back, did another poor application but charged me for another full treatment. When I called again they cam back did the fertilizer, not the week spray and charge me for another full application. $200 later and my lawn looks horrible and I have a collection agency calling now because I refuse to pay with such poor service and product. Never again...

Very Best Lawn Treatment

This is the end of the season and my lawn still looks the same. I have been really disappointed with the services carried out on my lawn with Doctor Green.
I had really high hopes of seeing the green. But the greater hurt comes from the false promises given to me one after the other just so that I say Yes to accept the services. I spent 350+ for the services, all to say that I may never recommend the service to anybody else. I am sorry for being harsh on your services, but its only the truth.

Thanks,
Dr. Adnan A. Mithwani

Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
The company should learn the value of a promise. They should learn to keep the customer value on top priority.

Lawn care

I hired Dr. Green lawn care as a professional company to kill the weeds on my lawn on the two properties that I own. I have discovered that they do not guarantee their service to kill weeds but only provide a "reduction" of weeds. I wish I would have know that up front. I still have the same weeds as I did at the beginning of the season. I called in for the so called "re-spray:" and was on hold for the longest time until someone came on the phone to take my number so I would be called back. Nobody called me back until days later it received a call from Dr, Green to sell me another service to kill crane flies. I told them that they could'nt even kill the weeds so never mind killing the so called infestation of crane flies in my area. When they finally arrived to do the so called "free re-spray" I had an invoice in my mailbox. I have called several times to be told that they will do a free "re-spray" . On both of my properties I still have alot of the same weeds except they are greener!!

lawn care

I received a cold call from Dr Green Lawn Care in the fall offering a special deal. If I took a couple of services which I had to pay for, I would get $50 off services for the next year. I was to get aeration and fertilizing. I don't know if they fertilized, but the aeration, based on the number of plugs was to about a 3x3 area on my lawn. Based upon that experience, I wasn't going to take their service for the next year, giving up the $50, but they called and convinced me to take the service, including re-doing the aeration. For the weed control, I might have seen no more that 5 blackened dead weeds on my lawn for the whole summer which showed me that they barely sprayed if at all. Twice, they came to spray when it was raining. I didn't see any results from fertilization either. The only way that I knew that they came was when they stuck their sign on my lawn. Everytime that they came, they opened my backyard gate and didn't close it. We let our dog into the back yard everyday. This meant that our dog would wonder off on it's own. I called to complain and cancel the service. It is next to impossible to cancel their service as the person who answers the phone tells you that they can't do it and refers you to someone who promises you everything to not cancel the service. They promised to close my backyard gate by putting a special note on my account to do so - they have never closed my gate. The bottom line is that if I applied weed and feed on my own twice during the season, I would have gotten better results with my lawn without any of the aggrevation of dealing with Dr Green. After that summer, I thought that I was done with dealing with them. they showed up the next spring and stuck their sign on my lawn and left a bill. I called and got their same runaround to someone trying to convince me continue their service. Their policy is to keep on showing up to do their program even if you don't ask for it. After having to listen to them trying to convince me to keep using their service, they finally agreed to cancel. They told me that they would cancel everything (including the bill for the supposed service that I didn't ask for). I still get emails and phone calls for that bill. The amount keeps increasing with service charges. BTW, when they call now, they are rude. Well, at least, I don't have to go and close my backyard gate anymore after seeing their sign on my front lawn.

Lawn Care

The "flate rate" package I was sold in the spring came with a continuing series of extra charges as the season unfolded - and my lawns have NEVER been in as bad shape as they are now at the end of a season of Dr. Green's "care." It's been an expensive and unpleasant lesson learned.

Overall, my experience has been positive. Customer service is responsive to my requests, and the website is easy and saves waiting time on the phone.
One comment though- I was not made aware of overseeding as necessary treatment for my lawn until mid summer, when it was too late. It would have been nice to know when I first signed up in April.

Dr. Green is taking real good care of my lawn. Although we had new sod put in 2 years ago it was horrible. Dr. Green staff are courteous and take good care of my lawn. It will take a few years to get my lawn to look great, but in just a short time it has definitely improved. Looking forward to having the best lawn on the street. Thank you all for caring and responding to my questions and concerns quickly.

This is our first year with having Dr. Green as our lawn care specialists. We have been pleased with the service we've received. First and foremost, your prices are the best that we could find!! Secondly, it's important to know that we had just moved into this house and the previous owner's hadn't cancelled their service with their provider. After we enrolled with you, their provider came out and provided the first application. When I called you about it, you easily changed my package to provide another service in lieu of the one you no longer needed to do. All of my dealings with you have been smooth. Another time we received the email from you to let us know you would be out the next business day and you warned us that we wouldn't be able to cut our grass for 2 weeks. Our grass was already super long and needed to be cut that weekend (and of course we didn't have time to do it before you came), so when I called to reschedule, it was also an easy process. So your customer service is great!!
As well, we are very happy with our lawn! If we only had time to care for it properly, it would look really good!

Grub control

For the second year my lawn has now been torn up by animals despite paying for elimination of grubs, etc. Obviously money wasted. Representative contacted was unsympathetic' abrupt and dismissive whilst trying to 'talk over' me.

Very disappointing after a number of years of service, of which loyalty obviously has no standing with Dr. Green and this is my last year of socalled 'Very Best Service' and extra bug control programmes.
