After speaking to our warranty department, I was able to locate your file and the issues you had based off of your specific concerns addressed in this review. Regarding the fan hose, D'Angelo and Sons did admit that we had made an honest mistake, of course we were willing to return to your home in order to fix that issue. However, instead of repairing the issue you had stated that you wanted a full refund for the roof, which we were not able to accommodate for you. As a roofing company that does over 3,500 roofs a year, we fully recognized that from time to time we make mistakes. We would never leave an issue unaddressed, but we also hope to work within reason with our customers in order to reach an agreement. In this situation, we were not able to refund the entire price of the roof because of the unattached bathroom vent. Later in your review you mention that you also had problems with a gas hookup and your soffit and downspout, however, you never reported those issues to us to repair or address. A carbon monoxide leak would of course be of serious concern, however, as previously mentioned, you never brought this attention and to our knowledge this review is the first time we have heard of these problems. Lastly, the roofers that are working on another street are not able to leave that job site and go into your home without approval from our company and a work order, this is due to safety and liability reasons. When homeowners address our employees o the street, they pass the information on to our offices to be dealt with in house.
