Brent came out to help us with our first home inspection on a rental property in Hamilton. He was professional and personable and had great advice for us, not only on our home inspection but for our renovations and first move into landlording! What do you get with a home inspection from Brent? Everything! Brent took the time to analyze and photograph every square inch of the house and prompted me for questions throughout the process. I have close friends that are in the home inspection game, but Brent and Classic Home Inspections will be my team moving forwards. Brent's diligence, despite the homeowner being present and somewhat hostile revealed a huge health and safety concern prior to purchase: it was something that might have been easily missed by other inspectors, and would have definitely been missed by myself. My experience with Brent was an honest, diligent, highly professional one that I would not hesitate to recommend to all.

1. Found vermiculite insulation (some contain asbestos) UNDER other insulation in the attic. That alone was worth the money we spent.
2. Was very thorough.
3. Down to earth, straight up and to the point.
4. On time (got there before we did!).

Classic Home Inspections Inc. made our first home purchase an experience to remember. We had to reschedule with Brent and he was able to accommodate. Even before walking onto the property Brent noticed chimney issues - he took the time to go on the roof to inspection (even in the middle of winter!) Well worth the time and price getting a home inspection done. We were able to save on our purchase price (which is always a plus.) Brent did a very thorough inspection of the 25 year old home we bought.  He is extremely pleasant to deal with.  He took his time looking at everything in the house, inside and out.  He climbed up on the roof and took his time checking it out, despite being a very cold winter day.  He spent at least 15 minutes in the attic.  He detailed any issues to us, explained how serious they were, and made many suggestions on how to remedy these issues.  We would definitely use Brent again and would highly recommend him for home inspections.

I recently had my home inspection done by Brent and I'm glad I called him for the job. I was actually very skeptical at first about this home inspection thing and even considered opting out of it at one time, but decided to give it a try after reading many positive reviews about him on this website. Brent was very knowledgeable and walked through every inch of the house, noticing a few things that I wouldn't have noticed on my own, gave me tips on dealing with those issues. He also checked all appliances and paid special attention to any signs of water leaks. In the process, I learnd quite a few things from him and feel more confident about my new house as a result. All in all, it was a very positive experience for me and I'd say it was definitely worth it for me. Thank you Brent!

I have had Brent inspect two houses for me now (the first one not working out), and he is excellent at what he does. He is thorough, detailed, and honest, which is exactly what I wanted in a home inspector.

He took the time to show me everything that he was looking at and explaining it in a way that I (as a layman) could understand. He made sure I was comfortable with what I was seeing before leaving a room and was always prompting me to ask questions as we went through the house.

Not only was Brent early for the appointment he was very detailed when doing the inspection and explaining the final report to me, he also e-mailed me the pictures right away. I would highly recommend using Classic Home Inspections!
