Our furnace finally bit the dust a few weeks ago during the coldest day of the year. We had needed a few service calls over the last couple of years so it wasn't a shock, but the timing was bad.
The short story is, our old furnace was pronounced dead at 6:30pm on a Friday and by 3pm the next day the new furnace was installed and our house was warm again after having no heat on the coldest night of the year. They offered space heaters which we didn't need since we had a gas and electric fireplace.
It was around -35 on Saturday when they started the install so kudos to the the guys for working through that.
We opted for the rental instead of buying but we do have the option to buy it out right within the next 6 months if we want. (Ignore the facebook posts about 'problems with rentals and having a lien placed on your house...it's nonsense. Read the contract!)
The fact that our rep (Rodney) was at our place explaining options, measuring our house for what we'd need at a fairly late hour and that the installers and service people were all professional and helpful, I'd absolutely recommend Reliance.
