Beware of this company

[ ALERT ]
I got an AC unit from them because they mentioned two things:
1. The rebate program
2. 0% government loan
3. They said we take care of everything

Now it's been almost a year since I purchased an overpriced unit and I still do not received any rebate which they say it is because of government delay. But also no one is taking my concern serious about the government loan. They pushed me to sign a 2.99% loan agreement with Financeit and it is ending and increases to 20% and they still have not got me the loan.
I called and now they say I should do it myself!!!!! stay away! I try to seek legal advice as it is mentioned in the contract and they have not respected it.

Here is my situation after a year:
1. I paid extra for 2 months that they did not mention I need to cancel the previous rental agreement myself
2. I am paying above the price they initially mentioned would be the price for my gas and hydro
3. I did not get any rebate grant
4. I paid 2.99% and soon 20% on a loan for an overpriced AC unit ($22K!) and no 0% government loan

If the agent from this company showed up on your door, just shut the door!

STOP!!

Dont trust positive reviews like I did! The installers ask you to review immediately after install and they are pretty nice so you are inspired to do so.

What a nightmare, the sales guy tells you they will take the old tank with them at install, they will pay off your existing contract with current rental company, he takes you account number and says they will deal with everything. Tells you the monthly fee is like $40, and will only increase after a year if you miss a payment or are late.

What really happened? The installers did not take the tank, the install leaked both water and gas (they came the next day and repaired it though) after calling them about what to do with the tank they told me I had to arrange with reliance to have it picked up. Thats a $450 charge I say and they insist its all good, they will pay it (it would have been free if their installers took it with them and dropped it off at one of the drop off locations) THEN, the calls from reliance start coming in that I have this amount due, I tell them PSHS will be paying it not to worry. Eventually I call PSHS and ask them whats taking so long and they say they have a 30-90 day policy on paying it off starting from the date they approved the amount to be paid. (And only after requesting from me the final bill and the bill previous to that after I sent it in- the sales person said I wouldnt have to do any of that) now my reliance bill is in collections, its $590 and that high because of the damned pick up fee. And also the monthly payments will be going up to $120 after a year, regardless of your perfect payment history Im so mad at myself for being tricked like this. STAY AWAY.

Heat pump

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
An absolute nightmare of a company. We used their services for a new heat pump and it has been an absolute hell.
We have waiting on our buyout and bill credit now for MONTHS and each time weve contacted them, they keep on pushing the date or they just dont answer.

Save yourself the headaches and avoid this company at all costs

tankless water heater

I have been suffering for over a year now. They don't stick to their promises.
I was told i will pay $142 monthly. after i signed the contract i found it is 142 biweekly.
I was told the interest is 2.99% for the first year and from 2nd year, it will increase to 12.99%, but i can call them after 1st year to keep 2.99%, which did not happen. I have been trying to reach out to them, with no response.
The Water UV was wrongly installed, which caused a basement leaking.
4 months ago, I had a tele conversation with Shea, Retention Manager.
She promised to solve all problems if I delete my bad review on provincial Smart Home website.
I have deleted my bad review right away, but nothing was solved.
Now, I can see I m paying 12.99% interest starting next payment, in less than 2 weeks.
At the time I have signed the contract, on April 2023, the Sales Manager gave me wrong information that I will be paying CAD142 monthly not biweekly and that the contract is an old version and does not have the correct numbers on.
Also, he promised to keep 2.99% interest rate after the first year, if all payments are done on time, which has happened throughout the first year.
Here is the WhatsApp text messages where he promised to reduce the interest rate after 1st year:
"After the first year like I said, call me and we will discuss options to reduce that and lower the rate to bring your payment down."
"$142 will be your bi weekly payment once the rate increases. But remember what I told you, after first year, call us and we will help you discuss your options to reduce that significantly"
"So ur good to go, after the first year call us and we will help you with options to reduce the rate so your biweekly payment goes to the price I told you. We do this for all of our customers."

Bad service.

I had a visit from Provincial Smart Syatem salesman, suppose to be for the senior Rebate qualifications..he ended telling me allot of things and promise.. immediately he mobiles his technical team removing my current AC to replace it with a heat bump. after the removal of the equipments they sent me the contract which different from what we agreed on.. Salesman changed his mind claiming he did not say what we agreed on, i cancelled the contract, now I am chasing them to re connect my AC. i called the office, they told me to wait a call from the Technical team , 3 weeks now no calls received, i sent them email, no reply. now i am going to wait few more days before i reach out to BBB .

Tankless Water Heater

Technicians left my home on a Thursday night. I came home from work on Friday with a gas leak in my house. Called could not get any answer back. Called in someone from my town to fix it as it could have been fatal. My dogs where in this smell all day. I have contacted the company to get manager to call me four times now and no answer. I have a bill from when I had the leak fixed and want them to pay for it. Too add to this the pipe they put outside is unexceptable. They broke my siding and left a big hole, Needless to say I have cancelled all payments until I get satisfaction. I am going higher with this that was my life they where playing with. Are they really gas technicians or are they running under owners certificate?

Heat pump and water heater

We are tired of requesting to cancel our contract since one month .but no body is giving proper response.we have emailed to cancel after one day of their installation. Nobody is replying at the end we have decided to go to BBB and consumer court and we informed about this still no response.this company is giving hard time to us.

Heat Pump Installation

Provincial Smart Home Is the worst service I have ever experienced in my Life Time. First thing they brought the wrong heat pump to my home. They told me Oh they sent the wrong one instead of one large heat pump they sent two small ones. Then they installed one head in the wrong place of my home. Now my kitchen & living room are freezing cold in the front of my home. and the head that they put in the back room of the house is to hot ??? I try to contact them on line and by phone & never a response back. So Very Disappointed I wish I had never agreed to have this done it's very Stressful, you spend your hard earned money for this Awful Service that you trusted was a good thing & it turns out to be a Nightmare !!!! No information on a Rebate either ???? Don't Deal With Them !!!!

Stay Clear

Paid for the a 2 ton heat pump, got a refurbished one after initially installing a 1.5 ton heat pump. No one ever calls back, no one from the company wants to deal with this matter. Guaranteed a $6000 rebate but after almost a year, no rebate has yet to be paid. Stay clear, this company appears to take your money without giving you the proper products you paid for.

Installation and after sales service review

Their service until installation was spotless. However, after sales service is terrible. Their phone number listed in the website does not work. They're yet to settle the buy back of equipments even though six months have passed. I tried to contact them through the App, failed on that end as well. Chat does not work at all. Now my last resort is to go through legal route. The biggest problem the clients will be facing is that if they can't contact the service provider, what if there is a technical problem, then they're doomed.
