I have been suffering for over a year now. They don't stick to their promises.
I was told i will pay $142 monthly. after i signed the contract i found it is 142 biweekly.
I was told the interest is 2.99% for the first year and from 2nd year, it will increase to 12.99%, but i can call them after 1st year to keep 2.99%, which did not happen. I have been trying to reach out to them, with no response.
The Water UV was wrongly installed, which caused a basement leaking.
4 months ago, I had a tele conversation with Shea, Retention Manager.
She promised to solve all problems if I delete my bad review on provincial Smart Home website.
I have deleted my bad review right away, but nothing was solved.
Now, I can see I m paying 12.99% interest starting next payment, in less than 2 weeks.
At the time I have signed the contract, on April 2023, the Sales Manager gave me wrong information that I will be paying CAD142 monthly not biweekly and that the contract is an old version and does not have the correct numbers on.
Also, he promised to keep 2.99% interest rate after the first year, if all payments are done on time, which has happened throughout the first year.
Here is the WhatsApp text messages where he promised to reduce the interest rate after 1st year:
"After the first year like I said, call me and we will discuss options to reduce that and lower the rate to bring your payment down."
"$142 will be your bi weekly payment once the rate increases. But remember what I told you, after first year, call us and we will help you discuss your options to reduce that significantly"
"So ur good to go, after the first year call us and we will help you with options to reduce the rate so your biweekly payment goes to the price I told you. We do this for all of our customers."
