Unfortunately, i didn't check ALL these bad reviews before calling them for my refrigerator service. I paid $320 just to get the quote for refrigerator. Initially, they told $80 for providing me a quote. When Technician came to my house, "The A Team Appliance Repair" company told that they won't be able to give quote until I pay $320 in advance, otherwise I will loose $80 as well. I paid $320 in advance just to get the quote. Then they gave me quote of $1300 for replacing the part which is less than $80 (i.e. quote is 16 times than the part's value - for less than one hour labor job). When I called to The A Team about this finding, they hung up on me.

Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST.

Called A Team to look at chest freezer in our store that was not cooling properly. Booking was easy and technician arrived when they said he would. Freezer was working okay when tech arrived and said he could find nothing wrong but suspected a defective compressor. Said to monitor it and it would likely stop working if his suspicions were right.

He estimated a new compressor would be around $700-$900 for the part. He said installation would be covered by the $290 fee he charged for the initial visit.

Sure enought the freezer stopped working a week later. When I called customer service I was told the compressor was now going to be $1700 and that the labour charged from the first visit would not be considered.

Did not appreciate being mislead by A Team and will go elsewhere. Should have checked HomeStars first before using these peopel.

Called this company to repair a broken dryer belt. Technician spent 10 mins onsite to diagnose the problem and they charged $180. Then another $318 to repair which after a week of waiting they still did not come back to repair. Had the dryer fixed same day with another company for less than $250. Stay away at all costs!

We paid $700 and they came to our house claiming to fix the fridge then they said they need time for the parts to arrive and they came and didnt fix it

A-Team Appliance Repair replaced two burner switches on a 9-year-old Samsung stove for $500. Given the costs, the technician recommended original equipment parts which had a longer warranty so we decided to go ahead with the repairs. The repair required three appointments (no call/no show on the second appointment), When the switches failed after a month of use, they informed us that the installed parts were beyond their 30-day warranty period and that we would have to contact the manufacturer directly about the warranty replacements. Since we did not purchase the parts directly and did not have a part number or proof of purchase, the manufacturer was unable to help us.

We do not recommend A-Team Appliance Repair service. Their administrative staff were unpleasant and not helpful.

I just want to share my experience which I faced today ....We called "the A team appliance repair" tech for washer repair. They demanded 320 dollars in cash or debit immediately without looking into the issue. Once paid, within 5 mins he informed as motor needs to be replaced and demanded further 700 dollars

This company has a $80 service charge to come to your home and go in and turn on the dryer and then call and tell you what you already knew was happening and then charged you $200 extra to do the service call check on your appliance for what I call the original service charge for calling them to come and check the dryer for what is wrong with it. They are the biggest junk I have ever known and how are they still getting away with this. Something should be done with them and all the money everyone has lost to this company. This is the first and last time for these guys and hope someone will be able to get their business shut down.

We had called A Team Appliance repair when we were looking for a company to look at our Samsung fridge that suddenly stopped cooling. The first thing they told me was a technician will come and will be charging us $89 for service call and would diagnose the problem then. When they came, they immediately said it was a compressor and quoted us to replace the compressor in 3 days. They quoted that it would cost $1800 for the service and compressor. When the technician came to supposedly replace the compressor, he said that it was the board and there's nothing wrong with the compressor. I do not believe that they replaced the board either. When I asked why they are still charging us for the same amount as the compressor, they said it's the same cost as the compressor. And in that, they refused to leave our home until we settled the cost they quoted us. I believe that this company misleads homeowners in believing that their appliances need more repairs than necessary and ultimately forcing them to pay ridiculous and overpriced parts and service with minimum effort to repair the problem. This company had been featured on TV for taking advantage of their customers and I believe have used multiple names to cover up their modus-operandi. It is unfortunate that we fell into their tricks and we are hopeful that this review will help others not to be taken advantage of and fell as their victims. Do not trust this company. We should have known better when they told us initially that they only accept Cash or Debit. Not credit card. Customers beware and stay away.

Fridge fixed but they caused a leak that I had to repair at my cost. Asked them if their liability insurance would cover. They did not get back to me. I Only asked for my parts cost as I did the labour myself . Cost requested was $200. Fridge is working good and repair guys were polite. However, they did not take responsibility for cracking the pipe as they said it happens often and to get a plumber.
