We hired Salty's to do a renovation of our front entrance, the work was completed and we were very happy with the finished product. However, there were some issues with the permits and timeline for the job to be completed which is why I have not given a higher recommendation. If you are in a hurry or have a definite timeline, I would be hesitant to use them. Chris is very thorough, polite and goes out of his way to make sure that you get what you want, in the end I was very happy with the work but it took much longer than I had expected.

I had water damage to my hardwood floor. I chose not to use Danuk construction, the company recommended by my insurance provider. It did not have a prepaid contractor license, and refused to comply with the relevant legislation.

Although Salty's also did not have prepaid contractor license, they were willing to comply with the relevant legislation. They did excellent work at a reasonable price. Although the project took longer than expected, the fault was not theirs. They always kept me updated on progress and explained any delays.

They were also willing to tackle the task of making a Murphy closet when the one on order did not arrive. They had never done this before, yet did an excellent job.

They were polite, clean, and efficient. I'm not sure what else one could ask for in a contractor.

We hired Salty's to do some odd job house repairs before we put our house up for sale in Edmonton and they fixed everything promptly for a fair price. I would highly recommend Salty's to anyone looking to hire someone to do repairs around the house big or small. It really helped me focus on getting the house ready rather than trying to fix the issues myself.

We have worked with Salty's on a couple projects now and we have been very happy with the results. They have been very accommodating and I would certainly recommend their services.

Baseboards were meticulously installed in my condo unit. They started and finished when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. I’m very happy with the work done.

The time had come for us to do a complete reno in our basement. Renos included gutting out and rebuilding new bathroom, ceramic tile flooring, suspended ceiling, installing new doors/door frames, laminate all flooring, replace baseboards/window trims, replace closet doors, ceramic tile countertop, and opening in wall with tile countertop . Chris came the same day we phoned him, did a walk through and had a written detailed estimate for us the next day, all within the budget we gave him. We chose Chris because of his calm and confident knowledge of his work. He explained things in detail, answered all our silly questions and concerns and took all our phone calls. There were no hidden costs and he kept to the budget. Chris is a very kind, considerate and trustworthy person. A big thank you to Jordan and Francis for all their great work too. It was an absolute pleasure having this crew in our home, lots of great chats and good laughs. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone. 100% satisfied with the reno! Love it! The guys were polite and cleaned up after themselves really well. Even though it was a small job, they treated us really well, and we were very happy with the end results.

I'm a repeat customer. The guys came out measured the window, gave me a quote and a lead time the next day. The window arrived damaged and that caused a delay. But when they got the window, they arrived on time, removed the old window, and found that the window sill and some of the fraiming had to be replaced also. They ran out to Home Depot, got what they needed and finished the job on time. I was pleased with their work and clean up. Would definitely recommend them or hire them again. In fact this is the second job they have done for me. Last job was shingles on my garage.

It was done on schedule. Great quality and Professional. Very satisfied with the work. Highly recommended.

Salty's has done many projects in my house. Most recently, Chris and Jordan installed baseboards on my whole main floor. They we quick and efficient and quite affordable. The finishing work was great. I would and have recommended Salty's to my friends and family.
