Drawing was completed and submitted for permit on time without delays and all issues were addressed immediately and handle with care..
We received our permit and are in the middle of our renovation and couldn't be happier.

Measurite handled building approvals including variances for a very complex and drawn-out project replacing a garage built probably in the 1930's with a new garage structure. The placement of the old garage predated current bi-law restrictions, and space restrictions made application for variances necessary. Approval is also necessary for the removal of a mature maple which was pushing down the old garage and would interfere with necessary placement of the new one.

Doug has been very helpful and co-operative in marshaling this project through a complex and drawn-out bureaucratic process involving co-ordination of several other service, construction and consulting companies.

It's not over yet, but there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel and most of the bureaucratic hurdles seem to have been successfully negotiated.

Doug Norton designed my backyard paradise transforming my old backyard from a weedy grass backyard with an old deck to a backyard oasis. He designed 2 level deck off the deck with a hot-tub with a beautiful stone privacy wall. Next to the hot-tub was a salt water inground pool with stairs going into the pool, deep end in the middle of the pool back to a shallow end . While your in the shallow end of the pool you walk up the second set of pool stairs up to a pool bar, as you are sitting at the bar in the court yard you look over at the second pool house with movable glass walls which will open up to a theater, entertainment area and 3 piece washroom and finally with the english cobble stone and ashlar stamped concrete accenting the landscape we are able to cut the grass with scissors. With Doug's vision we are in a home that we will spend the rest of our life in, absolutely will!!!

It has been a pleasure to have Doug work on our project. He is very professional and friendly and was always available to answer our questions. I would definitely recommend hiring him for any project and would gladly work with him again.
