I have used Davey Tree for pruning 2 large maples (and others from time to time) every 3-4 years for about 20 years. They have always done an excellent job, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. The estimate was timely and in the ballpark, and all employees have always been polite and friendly, and have gone out of their way to accommodate my requests (stacking firewood, for example.) I will definitely be using them in the future.

Over the past 3 years, Grand Building has managed several projects for me: backyard fencing, stonework and landscaping; kitchen, laundry room and powder room reno; verandah reno and front yard landscaping; back deck rebuild and wood siding. All have been completed within a suitable time frame and very successfully. My vision for the work is carried out faithfully, and Jason's suggestions have been very helpful. The few flaws which inevitably come to light after such major projects have been completed are always cheerfully and competently corrected. The men working on the projects are always co-operative and a pleasure to deal with, and the job site is left neat at the end of each day to ease the disruption inevitably resulting from any renovation. I'm delighted with the way these projects have been handled, and will certainly be using Grand Building's services for future home improvements.

Prompt, convenient service (annual maintenance check - covered by contract.) When the technician, Fadi, detected a potential problem, he informed me immediately. He then consulted his manager for a second opinion. I am completely satisfied with the appropriate way he handled the issue, and am quite comfortable with the outcome.

Last year, Grand Building fenced and landscaped my backyard, using existing flagstones (at my request) to rebuild the garden path. The yard had been completely destroyed by the construction of a new garage and the removal of several large trees. The new garden is already a delight to see. This year, they renovated the kitchen, laundry room and powder room, and the results are remarkable. Jason at Grand Building extended every effort to achieve my wishes for these areas, and the suggestions he made were an invaluable addition. The workmen who implemented the changes were a pleasure to work with. I most certainly intend to use Grand Building for the additional work I plan for the future, and recommend them unreservedly.

Measurite handled building approvals including variances for a very complex and drawn-out project replacing a garage built probably in the 1930's with a new garage structure. The placement of the old garage predated current bi-law restrictions, and space restrictions made application for variances necessary. Approval is also necessary for the removal of a mature maple which was pushing down the old garage and would interfere with necessary placement of the new one. Doug has been very helpful and co-operative in marshaling this project through a complex and drawn-out bureaucratic process involving co-ordination of several other service, construction and consulting companies. It's not over yet, but there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel and most of the bureaucratic hurdles seem to have been successfully negotiated.
