Tom was recommended to us by a friend and are we ever glad to have been introduced to him. To start, we asked him for a proposal on the basement and it took him about a week to get it done. We were quite surpised that his proposal included a 3D rendering that prettt much showed us what we’re getting. This was defintely a good indication that he cared about his work. The other 2 quotes we recieved were nowhere near prepared and just pointed things out with their fingers which was not good enough for my wife and I. The basement took 8 weeks to be fully completed. All is done now, the wife is happier than ever so we had him build a tool-shed this summer and as per usual, no problems. It was quite the experience considering all the other stories we’ve been hearing about no shows and over-promises but under-delivers. All-in-all, we highly recommend him !

We have had many contractors work with us over the years hired through our interior decorator so we were a bit reluctant to engage a new contractor for our first solo project in our new home. However we went ahead based on the glowing recommendation we received for Tomislav. As we were only drywalling the interior walls of our garage and installing a storage system we thought it was a good test of his workmanship. The results were fantastic. My husband said he wished the interior of our home had been drywalled and painted as well as the garage. We immediately hired Tomislav for another project on our long list. Unfortunately this one didn’t go as smoothly because while Tomislav was away at a pre-advised personal commitment the employee painting the cedar siding wall Tomislav had installed applied the stain incorrectly. The look of disappointment on Tomislav’s face when he saw the wall pretty much summed up our feelings. He immediately told us that he would remove the newly installed cedar siding and replace /stain it at his cost and labour. That response has pretty much typified our relationship with Tomislav. He treats your house with respect as he would want his treated. He tells you exactly what he is going to do and why or provides alternative solutions when something you want is not feasible. He is very organized in both the delivery of his work and his time commitments. More importantly he promises and produces a high quality outcome. We have been so impressed with Tomislav’s results that he has completed 2 additional projects for us, including a small bathroom renovation, is lined up for a 3rd project and we are in conversation with him regarding a 4th project. We highly recommend Tomislav’s work to our neighbours and friends. Tomislav’s work and the outcomes are impressive.
