I am extremely pleased with the quality of work from Valiant Flooring! They have an amazing teamfriendly, knowledgeable, and exceptionally skilled. Everyone was respectful, helpful, and did their jobs flawlessly. Varant, my main contact, was incredibly patient, handling all my endless questions with kindness and professionalism, even when I wasnt making much sense. Varant from Valiant Flooring did an amazing job. When our basement was renovated the transition between the carpet and laminate was never really done properly. We lived with it for a few years, but decided it was time to fix it. Varant was really knowledgeable about our options and helped us choose the best option so that we did not need to fix the transition again. Highly, highly recommend!

The job itself was done well, but the fit and finish left room for improvement. Some areas of the baseboard trim aren't perfect, the handrail isn't as smooth as before (a guest even noticed this), and its vertical alignment is off. The basement handrail is slightly loose than it was previously, however Varant will be back to fix. The finishing between the stairs, handrail, floor, and tread nosing doesn't match perfectly but common when working amongst existing, new and materials from different suppliers. In most conditions however, the eye blends the difference. The flooring from the manufacturer is excellent, but any existing or custom-made components are less than perfect (see photos).

However, Varant quickly addressed and fixed other minor issues like paint and sealant. He was very personable and easy to work with. I believe his work will improve with time, though I would have preferred a perfect job, whether using new or old components.

I met with Varant to replace a small section of vinyl flooring in my basement. He provided excellent information and options. He seemed very knowledgeable in his craft. He arrived on time, answered all my follow-up questions and all of husband's questions.

floor is ok like so so except some gap between baseboard and floor.

painting was poor results like paint dirt many where like door knob, mirror and painting was not evenly done. many spot were peeled off already when job finished. door trim is sticky by paint and now peeled off.

silicone re-caulk was mainly worst.
all silicone on bath tub and sink were melted down or peeled off from day 1 after work finished.
it was more than 48 hours dried.
so he came back to rework.
I wondered why he didn't wait to surface dry after wipe off of old silicone.
again, reworked silicone were melted down and peeled off again.
when silicone was done, it was so thin and look like not even done properly. he said ok and it is good. but it was not good.
asked him about it and wanted fix properly but he's not answering anymore.

since he kept complained that he doesn't want to do work other than floor because he is floor guy, he supposed hire good guys and take care if he took whole job. but I think he hired cheap workers for other job.

I have more than 7 properties and did many jobs with different guys.

this was worst result.

I am not the person who spend time to leave review.
But his reaction at the end makes me to do.

BTW, he is very kind and friendly though.

Varant and his team did a good job on installing laminate floor for my daughter's condo. They were on time in meeting me at the condo and the retailer's store. He provided me with the document required by the condo mgt as promised. Varant spent extra effort in locating a better match color reducer. Whatever they promised, they delivered. I would recommend him and his team on flooring.

Varant and the team at Valiant are truly wonderful. They provide the kind of service you don't really see too often anymore. We needed our old, damaged laminate removed from our condo and installation of new flooring. Varant was direct, quick to respond, and very kind as he walked us through all the options. Both the removal and installation were super fast as the team helped us move our furniture (and cats) around during the process. We are so grateful and will recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Valiant flooring is an excellent company . We were very lucky to work with this company.
We hired Varant and his team in May, but we did not know the date when the job would start. Varant was extremely patient with the situation and finally the job started in mid July.
The team had to move all the furniture, remove the old floor and install new flooring. They did this with utmost care. Varant is a real professional, who is punctual, precise, and patient and a most pleasant individual. He went out of his way to help us and did extra work to finish the job to our satisfaction. He is to be hired if you want to have a nice experience with renovation.
