This goes back a bit but I felt I had to share it.
I called Four Seasons and promptly had a meeting set up. The salesman showed up to my home and was very chatty, but things quickly went south. He claimed he was the grandson of PM Mackenzie King (King had no kids so this was a blatant falsehood), and for whatever reason he felt the need to discuss the Paul Bernardo/Homolka crimes, even going so far to say he'd seen the tapes they had made. He also remarked on our child's shoes and items, saying how cute they were; we were extremely disturbed. And, despite not wanting to sign a contract on the spot, he pushed saying he did not have time to come back again to give us a chance to think things over. Because it was much cheaper than other quotes, we signed. But we could not wait to get him out of our house, it was a disgusting experience.
Time dragged on and our project was put off for several weeks, despite having a large deposit and repeated calls/emails (made by us, not by them) and assurances things would start soon. Usually messages went unreturned. I was about to threaten legal action when a very forceful last ditch phone call was made, and materials were finally delivered to our home and work was started. The workers who did the work did their best I'm sure, but knew little to no English.
The project was finished and then, obviously, I was pressed by the administrator to pay up the balance immediately. Funny how service is excellent only when money is owed. I was insulted and refused to pay until the mess and junk left on my lawn was cleared. They cleared the material and I paid the balance.
I've noticed many loose roofing screws around my property after the job was done, but so far, I've had no issues with the roof. I am highly skeptical if I required a warranty service that I'd get it.
I was extremely disappointed by the ignored messages, by the months-long delay in installation, and by the horrifying salesperson experience. The job got done, but it was extremely unpleasant.
