I just want to thank Ash for the quick response to help out and get my water heater working properly again.

We had hired contractors to renovate my senior mother's house. As part of that renovation, we had a new Hot Water Tank installed. It never worked correctly from day one, but all our complaints fell on deaf ears. Well, the contractor walked out on us, not finishing the job that they were paid to complete. Trying to get the original subcontractor to come out and provide service to the product they supplied also proved to be unsuccessful.

Thankfully, I found Fair Deal Heating and Air Conditioning. Ash came out on Sunday, replaced the gas valve control unit, and also took the time to fix up the other contractors DIY-style install.

Ash was kind, courteous, and a true professional through and through. I couldn't have asked for a better transaction.

In fact, let me just also say how Ash has gone the extra mile. The part that I needed to be replaced was under warranty. Ash arranged for me to pay for the part, and he has taken care of all the forms that are necessary to help me get my refund. Now, here is where the extra mile comes in. Ash took the initiative to contact the supplier after a few days to inquire what is taking so long to have this refunded. I didn't even have to say anything, he just did it on his own. It is very rare to find someone so caring enough about their customers these days.

After many years of debating whether to replace our old hot water tank, or purchase one, we decided on the latter. I researched this at length. The old tank came with our home, and was a monthly rental. It was nearing the end of its life, and I made several calls to inquire about the process for a pickup.

We decided on Fair Deal after reading many positive reviews on the home forums. I had recommended Ash and his team to my in-laws last year. Ash was very responsive to all my texts and emails. The installation team showed up on time, and more importantly, were professional and courteous. We had our own padding and tarp to protect our floors and walls, but the team took care not to damage our home.

The tank wasnt in the correct position (to code), and Ash charged a minimal fee to correct this and realign the plumbing. The installation took a few hours, and they moved our old tank to a corner of the garage for pickup.

There was a small misunderstanding on the final bill, and I actually overpaid. Ash called and said he would be refunding me the amount via E-transfer. Its so refreshing to find an honest, reliable, and professional installer.

My A/C wasn't working - I contacted Fair Deal based on their reviews and got a response from Ash soon after. 2 techs came by the same day and quickly diagnosed and fixed my problem, and charged a reasonable price. I highly recommend them and will be going back to them for any future issues.

I had an outstanding experience and can confidently say Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning is what a good contractor should be: friendly, responsive, and honest. From the moment we reached out to Ash about our AC problems, he promptly responded and gave us helpful information without any pressure to hire him. He told us about a higher-end AC model in case we were interested but was honest in stating that a lower-end model would suffice for our needs.

We hired Ash and we were delighted to schedule our installation just a few days later. The installation team (Lovepreet and Raj) surpassed our expectations. They were respectful of our space and left our premises spotless. They completed the job quicker than expected but they paid attention to detail didn't rush through the job just to get it over with.

Heres a testament to Ash's integrity and honesty: he called us to inform us that we overpaid by a significant amount and wanted to go out of his way to return the excess money. For how happy we were with his work and service, we insisted he not worry about the overpayment.

We found Ash and his company through Red Flag deals. From the moment we called him to the end of our replacement, Ash and his teams service was 100/10. Ash was knowledgeable, patient, flexible and provided us with a solution that was best according to our needs. He was least bothered with selling his product (which is refreshing!) but more concerned about helping us make a decision that best suits our needs. Our AC had stopped working and Ash promised to have a Technician out within 10 days. I told Ash that my family suffers from allergies and keeping windows and doors open wasnt a feasible solution and he promised us to see if he can shuffle his other appointments to get us a sooner date. Within 4 days, Ash called us and confirmed an appointment that was only 5 days from when we contacted him! His team of Raj and assistant came and completed the install. After a day of running, we noticed that the AC was tripping the breaker and shutting off. We reached out to Ash again and he responded immediately (on Sunday!) and had us turn the unit off while assuring us that whatever the fix is, he will make sure it is done. Needless to say, his team came back and noted one of the wires was not properly and fixed it immediately. Ash even went the extra mile to set up our warranty and sent us the papers too J We are happy to report, the whole process was as hassle free as possible and we will certainly be using Ashs services in the near future to replace our Humidifier in the Fall! Ash and his team helped with a gas leak repair and installed new chimney liner. They were able to repair a gas leak within hours of first contact, provided exceptional service and was very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend Ash and his team.

I contacted Ash on short notice and he made arrangements to come the next day (Saturday) since he knew we had been making due without hot water for over a week.

The install went by without a hitch. Raj and Lovepreet (Ash's crew) were very friendly and patient with me as I tried to walk through some other plumbing issues in the house. Absolutely no concerns with hiring them again.

I ended up getting a Rinnai RU180 from Fair Deal Heating and AC.

I had a tank that finally finished it's contracted date so I didn't hesitate after reading reviews on homestars and RFD to purchase one outright. For my family, tankless was the best option and as everyone here as mentioned Fair Deal Heating and AC was great from answering questions to getting the job done.

The team was very professional and took good care of the area they were working in with rolled out carpets (my basement floor is finished) I would definitely recommend Ash and his team

I got a Lennox furnace installed by Fair Deal last week to replace my 14 year old Carrier and am happy with the install. Ash was easy to deal with and as the other reviews have mentioned, he is patient with questions and takes the time to explain things. He's easy to reach as well.

Some notables were:
* Installers used drop cloths on stairs and hallway
* Swept up after the job, didn't leave any odds/ends laying around and basically left the furnace room cleaner than before the job
* Took the time to clean the floor drain as the holes were getting clogged by gunk build up
* Piping looks clean and well done
* Installers were professional and soft spoken

The installers found that my A/C A-coil was improperly sized for my system and suggested possible solutions, which I will be considering.

The job took about 4.5 hours from arrival to departure, and the pricing was competitive amongst the quotes that I got, definitely lives up to the company name :)

Great job overall and I would go with them again for future work.
