Very bad company

This company told me that it will give me free air conditioning when I purchase a furnace. After paying for 2 years plus they were still charging me so I put a stop through my account and they started to call me asking me to pay 17,000 because it is what I owe them. After 1 paying 167.00 for 2 years plus. How can I pay almost twenty thousand dollars for just a furnace. When I refused they took my name to Credit Bureau to spoil my credit. Very very bad company

Dishonest Company

Don't use this company at all. I've never written a complaint about a product or company until now.

It started with a sales representative who came to my door offering to install a high efficiency furnace for about $5000, which could be paid in monthly installments. I agreed. Then, while the installation was taking place I was told the furnace will cost about $7000. I told them I didn't want the furnace anymore, so he said he could bring the price down to $5900. At that point I said okay, I was told that there would be no interest on the furnace as well. However, I later discovered that there is interest and the $99 monthly fee isn't directed completely to the principal.

I've phoned this company multiple times over the last year and a half. The customer service agents are extremely rude and are not very helpful at all. I've received two buy out letters from this company and the numbers they quote are always completely different. It's total confusion. Just recently, my monthly fee rose and I had no idea why that took place. I phoned them and I was told that the monthly fee rise is in the contract. So I asked them to email me a copy of the terms and conditions and another buy out amount. I never received the email, so I phoned again asking this company to send me those two documents. Get this, the lady told me that those documents have been sent to me because it says so in her notes. I told her clearly they haven't been sent because I haven't received the email. I told her to send them again but she said they won't because the documents have already been sent because it says so in the notes. Craziness!!

Seriously, don't use this company it's not worth it. If you don't believe me, just google about this company and see the horror stories on the news outlets.

Furnace and air conditioner

Clifford misrepresented the produce price and the conditions. The company did not give me the Terms and Conditions until I inquired about the payments a year later. I was told by CliffoRd and it's indenified on the brochure that I would be paying for 50 months. The Canadian Western Bank is involved as well as they finance this company. I feel like I was intentionally and falsely told a story that was not true by a company who just wanted me to pay 22,000 for a product that is worth 7,000. This should not happen to people in Canada. This is an awful company. Why are companies like this still in business?
