In 2016, this company was recommended by a pool company, and while we never competed to pool project, we continued on with the landscaping, stone, patio, stairs stone work in the front and back of the house. This is a decision we have come to deeply regret as it has been nothing but problems since the initial job and we had to hire another company ( because Mike and Ashley refused to fix despite opportunity) to completely REDO the front and side stairway. I wanted so badly for Ashley to take responsibility for a poor craftsmanship. Lifting and shifting and buckling stone that would only worsen over time as there was not proper removal of dirt, base laid or compaction. Containment as specified in quote was not used. At first, minor problems that were safety issues were dealt with but as time past, the issues went far beyond regular maintenance and Ashley dismissed despite another professional evaluation. The new company was flabbergasted by outdoor lifestyle's poor craftsmanship as they had never ever seen such horrible work in the many years they had been in the business. I had to pay $13000 for the front side walkways to be lifted and the removal of what SHOULD have been removed in the first place ( full dumpster in pic) in addition to major repairs on side stairs and back yard. All I ever asked was for Outdoor Lifestyle to redo this job and gave plenty of opportunity. They out right refused. I have been asking for reimbursement for this redo, as a proper job from the get go is what costomers deserve. There has been no response. Another family in our neighborhood had very similar issues recently....do not hire this company unless you want a job poorly done from the onset, leaving you with issue after issue and none stop repairs that can only be remedied with a compete redo.

To get to the point you have to get a lawyer involved while dealing with a company says all that needs to be said here. All is fine until it's not. Then expect delays returning, eventual chasing, to eventual rushed work to simply finish which will leave you upside down entirely. 3 years later and still I have an unfinished job. Tens of thousands in Unfinished or deficient work with approx 12k of 280k or so job. And no I didn't overpay vs work complete. There are simply so many deficiencies the cost to fix proper clearly makes it the typical scenario a contractor will never come back. Will leave it to the courts at this point.

Outdoor Lifestyles exceeded all of our families expectations. We had met with several companies when we were searching for a pool and landscaping and from the very start, they were always available, easy to deal with and offered us there personal and professional opinions on every decision. I was very nervous as this was a big project for us and our first pool, but they held our hands (not literally) every step of the way. The design was thought out and helped us visualize the whole space. I am still amazed at how close the backyard looks like the design.
We will be recommending Mike and Ashley to all of our family and friends.

The owners, Ashley and Mike are very personable, friendly, attentive, hard-working and give a lot of attention to detail. You can tell they have a lot of pride for their family-owned company.
We enjoyed the planning/designing stage as our needs were listened to listened to and suggestions/lots of options were offered. We were blown away with the whole experience of putting in our pool. Even though a lot of dirt and mud is to be expected in the construction, we were impressed with the professionalism and respect for our property when they were working. They were very clean as they cleaned up their daily garbage each night, leaving their tools (wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, etc.) all lined up neatly out of the way until they returned the next working day. The men who work for Outdoor Lifestyles are professional and friendly as they acknowledged us or our children with a wave each morning or afternoon we returned home, or as the kids were peaking out the backdoor at the construction :) They worked hard, let us tell you! No wasted time at all. This is why our construction was quick! The time it took for our pool to go in and patio to be finished blew us away. Owner, Mike brought a full crew of guys to work each day, overseeing the job from start to finish to make sure the finished product was at his highest standards. We appreciate his attention to detail, even sending some men back to change some stones that he noticed weren't at his standards (we had not noticed these stones!). It was nice that the owner of the company was there working each and everyday overseeing what was being done. We loved having the same company do it all for us, as it allowed for a quicker installation as no one was waiting for someone to finish their part of the job before starting the next.
Kelson was very friendly and attentive to our needs as he worked with us to create the waterfall we had envisioned and nothing was ever a bother to him. We can't thank the men of Outdoor Lifestyles enough. You know it's a good sign when we actually enjoyed having the men here each day and our family was actually sad that the work was all done as we enjoyed meeting and working with the company over the past year (through the planning up until the construction and completion).
Ashely put a lot of attention into our planting. She had us fill out a questionnaire and listened to our likes and dislikes for plants to create gardens that fit our taste and lifestyle. We are happy with the plants she suggested and had planted. We were impressed that all of the trees and plants were handpicked by her and delivered to our house where she oversaw the planting and individually placed each one in its correct spot before the men starting digging.
We are more than pleased with our backyard oasis and will enjoy it for many years to come. We can't thank Ashley and Mike at Outdoor Lifestyles enough for the attention and service they provided to us. They are your one-stop shop if you need a pool or any transformation of your front or backyard!! As you know, landscaping, and in our case a pool, is a big investment and you want to be happy with your experience and the final product. We are so glad we put our yard in their hands and are more than proud to refer them to our family, friends and anyone else who is looking for someone to do their yard.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the team at Outdoor Lifestyles! Ashley designed us a gorgeous landscape, perfect for our family. Pool, retaining wall, patio, water feature & pavilion. Mike and the workers were hardworking, professional and they have such an eye to detail. This is the first full summer we have been able to enjoy our new landscape! It has been amazing, the kids love it, my family loves it and I am so happy we decided to trust Outdoor Lifestyles in redesigning & renovating our backyard. Would highly recommend.

This company did our entire pool deck, all stone work and all landscaping on our property - this was a fairly large job. The work looks good but the problem is the follow up and the worst customer service from any company I have ever dealt with.

I am not going to get into the specifics of everything, but I will give a few examples. They planted some trees and of the 3, 2 of them died. They took 3 months to return a call, brought new trees and 2 died within a week. That was 2 months ago and we haven't gotten a return phone call. They put in a drain beside our pool for run off, which was done last year. It doesn't actually drain, so it is basically a drain that does nothing. They are yet to address it and have made it pretty clear that they don't care.

When you get work done from this company they will start calling you from day one for payment, but when It comes to follow up or any type of customer service, they simply don't care about the customer...they care about themselves and their money. I urge you, do not use this company under any circumstances....you will regret your decision.

Unfortunately, the follow up from Outdoor lifestyles was extremely poor. The inital work that was completed was well done completed on time and efficient.
However, the follow up with their warrenty was aweful! I had requested the patio stones to be reset and after speaking to Emily (the 'manager') i was assured it would be completed at the end of the season. Once i followed up with her to schedule an appontment, the response time was unbelievable. It took 3 email just to get a response. 18 emails back and forth and the last email was that she would have someone else look into the situation to get a response!? That was 3 weeks ago??!
It is very unfortunate that after spending $40 thousand the company would not response to a simple request? As stated at the beginning of the email the company initially did a good job however warrenty and follow up are non existent!

Mike, Ashley, Emily, Andrew and the whole crew were amazing to work with from start to finish! We had a pool installed and Outdoor Lifestyles worked with the pool company to ensure a seemless work environment for all. We had extensive work done from a stone patio, retaining wall, rebuilding of wooden steps, new gardens etc. We made changes to the plans during the course of work which they happily accepted. Very responsive, flexible and transparent. Everything looks fantastic... Would highly recommend.

Complete redesign of backyard included gardens, patio, large pool. Mike helped us to design a backyard oasis to escape to. We never used our grassy backyard and we now spend every available moment by the pool relaxing. We are very impressed with the amazing transition.

Outdoor Lifestyles are truly in a league of their own! We would strongly recommend their services! They made the process of building our backyard oasis seamless, simple and breathtaking!
