We are so glad that we stumbled upon this gem in Waterdown and have been more than pleased with our experience with Outdoor Lifestyles. The owners, Ashley and Mike are very personable, friendly, attentive, hard-working and give a lot of attention to detail. You can tell they have a lot of pride for their family-owned company. We enjoyed the planning/designing stage as our needs were listened to listened to and suggestions/lots of options were offered. We were blown away with the whole experience of putting in our pool. Even though a lot of dirt and mud is to be expected in the construction, we were impressed with the professionalism and respect for our property when they were working. They were very clean as they cleaned up their daily garbage each night, leaving their tools (wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, etc.) all lined up neatly out of the way until they returned the next working day. The men who work for Outdoor Lifestyles are professional and friendly as they acknowledged us or our children with a wave each morning or afternoon we returned home, or as the kids were peaking out the backdoor at the construction :) They worked hard, let us tell you! No wasted time at all. This is why our construction was quick! The time it took for our pool to go in and patio to be finished blew us away. Owner, Mike brought a full crew of guys to work each day, overseeing the job from start to finish to make sure the finished product was at his highest standards. We appreciate his attention to detail, even sending some men back to change some stones that he noticed weren't at his standards (we had not noticed these stones!). It was nice that the owner of the company was there working each and everyday overseeing what was being done. We loved having the same company do it all for us, as it allowed for a quicker installation as no one was waiting for someone to finish their part of the job before starting the next. Kelson was very friendly and attentive to our needs as he worked with us to create the waterfall we had envisioned and nothing was ever a bother to him. We can't thank the men of Outdoor Lifestyles enough. You know it's a good sign when we actually enjoyed having the men here each day and our family was actually sad that the work was all done as we enjoyed meeting and working with the company over the past year (through the planning up until the construction and completion). Ashely put a lot of attention into our planting. She had us fill out a questionnaire and listened to our likes and dislikes for plants to create gardens that fit our taste and lifestyle. We are happy with the plants she suggested and had planted. We were impressed that all of the trees and plants were handpicked by her and delivered to our house where she oversaw the planting and individually placed each one in its correct spot before the men starting digging. We are more than pleased with our backyard oasis and will enjoy it for many years to come. We can't thank Ashley and Mike at Outdoor Lifestyles enough for the attention and service they provided to us. They are your one-stop shop if you need a pool or any transformation of your front or backyard!! As you know, landscaping, and in our case a pool, is a big investment and you want to be happy with your experience and the final product. We are so glad we put our yard in their hands and are more than proud to refer them to our family, friends and anyone else who is looking for someone to do their yard.
