Consumers Energy Management

Based on their high customer ratings and reviews on Homestars we selected Consumers Energy Management (‘CEM’) to repair our malfunctioning furnace last fall. CEM provided a clear description of the issues and completed an excellent repair job. This spring our Air Conditioner of 21 years was no longer functioning at the required operating levels – CEM provided excellent advice on the selection of a new unit and carried-out an excellent job on the de-installation of the old unit, and installation of our new Armstrong AC. Once again they provided excellent workmanship in an efficient, timely and reliable manner.

We highly recommend CEM for all heating and air conditioning requirements and commend Edward and Kam who were wonderful to work with.

My family moved to a house in the country (a rural location). The house has in floor heating and does not have any air ducts. I asked Edward for some ideas about the best way to accommodate getting A/C installed and a quote. He was willing to drive 2 hours to our home to look at the sight etc. His ideas were well thought out. He provided a quote for a Mitsubishi Split System with two condensers outside and four heads inside. He scheduled a date for installation. On that date he and the tech installed the entire system in one day. There was a problem with one of the heads and they scheduled another trip to replace that faulty head quickly.
They did a great job. They have a strong work ethic. They are committed to their customers and to their work. Giving this project to Edward and his team was one of the best decisions/investments I've made since buying our new house. Thanks Edward for the excellent work on our A/C system. I highly recommend Edward and his team. They work hard, care about their work and have integrity.

Consumer energy did a fantastic and professional job installing our new air conditioner and bbq gas line. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they provided excellent service at a great value. I would definitely recommend them to others.

2 gentlemen showed up right on time and installed a pipe to connect the gas line from the basement to my balcony. They also helped me to carry the bbq onto the balcony and connect it to the gas line. Everything was great, I would highly recommend them to other people who need work done on their gas equipment.

Edward came and priced the work. I planned to do the work about a month away. When I was ready, I called him and scheduled the work for the following week. He came with his installer on the day of installation and they finished the installation in one day. I’m new to the tankless heater process and have to adjust to the use of the unit.

These guys are a pleasure to work with. I hired them to replace my AC unit. They guided me through the process of selecting the right unit, explaining the options and suggesting the best placement options. I decided to go with a wall mounted unit as per their recommendation, and couldn't be happier. Not only did it free up a lot of space on our deck by mounting it on the wall, the installation was top notch and the unit itself is VERY quiet.

Edward was excellent to work with. I had the team perform a hot water tank install. I am very impressed with their attention to detail and cleanliness.
He gave me an accurate quote, inspected the jobsite, and asked all of the right questions and took all the relevant measurements.

On the day, he showed up with his installer, and they were courteous and professional. The jobsite was kept tidy, and precautions were taken to be extra clean. Even though the install was slightly more challenging than they expected, they took time to pay attention to detail.

The install was excellent, I was very happy with the service and the transaction was honest and excellent.

I've used Consumers Energy Management to replace all the ducts in the house and a short while later put in a new furnace, tankless hot water heater and AC. Unlike other companies I had quote, Edward took a couple hours to walk through the house with me and offer suggestions on what work should be done and where. Other companies were in and out in 10 minutes.

When replacing the HVAC systems, Edward and his team took care to make sure everything installed was done in a neat and tidy way, checking if I was ok with where things would be located. Furthermore, due to uncertainties of closures as a result of COVID-19, he brought in a two teams to install the HVAC systems ensuring it would get done in a single day.

This level of care and attention built a lot of trust, I would (and have) gladly recommend them again.
