I called A1 checkmate in the afternoon on Tuesday and they showed up at 8AM sharp Wednesday morning. They checked my attic space and discovered that birds had been getting in through my vents. They covered the vented areas and sent me an email invoice. The entire process was very easy and professional. I would recommend their services.

After arriving back from vacation, we constantly heard scratching noises coming from the roof. We thought squirrels had gotten into the attic and called A-1. Louis came in short order, diagnosed that it was in fact a raccoon which chewed through a roof vent and was using it as a trap door. He installed a one-way trap and we have not heard the raccoon since. He also recommended other various preventative maintenance items we should consider to secure our other roof vents.

Louis was on time, very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He put me at ease, and assured me he would successfully remove the squirrel, and he did, in very short order. Raccoons were living in my roof. They were damaging my insulation and drywall. They were very loud and smelly. A1 Checkmate Wildlife came the day after I called him. He was such a nice man and very polite fast and efficient. Well worth the money for sure. I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Louis. He is honest and fair. He came to my home on three occasions for raccoons under my deck and squirrels in my attic. Thinking the third time was another squirrel, he checked the attic again and determined it actually was mice (or mouse). He did not charge me for this visit and recommended a pest control company that does this type of work.

We had Louis come out to check and fix the property of our squirrel problems. Sleeping had become unbearable listening to them destroy the attic at night. Louis was amazing. His personality was warm and open and understanding. Most importantly he actually listened to us unlike other companies. He came out and properly assessed the situation and took pictures to show us. He not only addressed the initial problem he took preventative measures in order to not have a repeat. He followed up with us and guaranteed his work.
